Ricky Stenhouse takes the checkers at Daytona. Dale Earnhardt Jr. had the worst luck as he wrecked and fought back to 5th only to be taken out by Kevin Harvick after he crashed. His last race at Daytona certainly was a sad one.

Lewis is the fucking luckiest PoS in the world. Gets swamped at the start and wins the positions back without any effort.

What a race to end MotoGp season! Marquez winning his fourth MGP title
I almost had a heart attack when he almost crashed after taking the race lead with 7 laps to go. Unbelievable what he saved

Marquez is just something out of this world... the technique, the devotion, the fighting. What a champion. He's definitely setting up a new era here. I'd say it's a pity he hasn't really got the support from most of the MotoGP fans who have Rossi as their current favourite. This guy can well get close to Nieto and Agostini in the future. |

Just finished watching this weekends World RallyCross finale from Cape Town... best WRX event of the year. Incredible action in every single race, including the RX2 support series. RallyCross really is the most action packed motorsport in the world. Plus they upload great highlights to Youtube, as well as full broadcast shows (might need a vpn depending on location).
I cannot recommend watching WRX enough. It's the perfect antidote to F1, or most motorsports.

Tried watching Formula E again this weekend.... it didn't go well....
Same few issues as last year and the year before. Bad track (that Hong Kong circuit... wow that was awful for racing) design, cars that can't go a full race distance (i know they standardise changeover times so it doesn't impact, but i can't take it seriously that they need 2 whole cars to do 1 race), horrid artifical extras (people complain DRS is fake, and then FE has goddamn fan boost....), awful sounds (electric engines don't sound good anyway but it really brings tyre squeal to the front and other clunks and bangs that are really not nice to listen to), confusing and numerous disqualifications and rule issues (ok F1 has 4,3million grid penalties a year, but at least i understand those and it doesn't change the result post-race every other week) and finally... clumsy drivers (i like the cars can hold up to some contact, but you can really tell FE is made up of F1 rejects with the amount of contact and just bad mistakes they make).
One of two of those issues i can deal with. F1 has a couple. BTCC has a couple. NASCAR has a couple. WRX has a couple. But none of them have all of those, and for me it makes the series unwatchable.
Especially funny watching the track design issues, whilst Lucas di Grassi is complaining the FIA needs less tight and regulated circuits for all series... (check out his twitter, it's really good)

I understand your pain - too much BS in Formula E.
From the next season (2018-19) the battery life would be long enough to cover the entire race distance rather than half of it. I agree, the FanBoost is one big bullshit that needs to go. The sound is nonexistent, it's expected. And the post-race penalty IMO is overtaking the FanBoost in terms of bullshitness.
The tracks are on streets, because Formula E wants to promote the whole electricity thing and where to do it if not the world's famous cities.
