Hello everybody !
I'm new into this forum, so hope for a good time here.
Recently I bought PCM 2011 (yes, back in time when Froome was unknown) and installed some DB. From a friend I understood that PCMdaily has the best DB's (expansion pack) for any game. I guess I should re-install the game before installing your DB, so my question is ddo I need ti Re-activate the game after re-installing on the same PC ? |

The game is very old, so i can't remember 100% the right way, but my guess would be yes. Yes you should.

It's old, but that doesn't make it any worse.
And, since this is my very first game I will play on my laptop, does my activation key has any limits for activation? And would I be able somehow to buy another one?
And sorry for the noob questions. |

Don't worry about your questions, we are here to help. 
Yes, I believe you can activate the game a certain amount of times, and afterwards you have to purchase a new activation key. Also, I think the limit is pretty high, but I still would not recommend installing the game too many times in fear of running out of activations. |

If I remember correctly you may have to reenter the activation key, but it shouldn't actually take up on e of your activations. It's been a long time, but if my memory serves correctly, that's how it worked.

It's per computer i think, so you could re-innstal it several times

Thank you for the answers guys.
One more question, I tried to install a certain DB, I put everything where I should, I put the db file into docs-->PCM 2011---->users---->....--->database but when I start the game I cant find that DB. And when I open the docs folder the file which I placed just disappeared. Does somebody had the same issue with ANY game of the series ? |

Forget about my last question. I figured out my mistake. I should've made myself database folder INTO main directory inMy docs---->PCM and put the DB file there. So thank you for your answers once again. |

Hello again. I have some other question. For some reason I can't choose variants to play in s single race/stage mode. I installed a db with variants, even tried with more that one but for some reason I can't choose any different stage, but the default ones.
Also when I choose a db to play with, I choose f.e. PCMdailyexppackV1.cdb and set it up as a default and current db. When I'm into the single player menu when I check the DB for some reason OfficialRelease is a "current DB". Maybe this is the reason for my first problem, but does somebody have any idea how to fix it? |

In PCM11 variants can only be played in career mode and are not available in single race.
As far as the current db question is concerned, it's a sort of graphical bug but the db you selected as default is actually the one taken into account by the game. |
