Guerreiro with just an amazing Tour de France, above expecatations. And that stage win of Chávarri was fantastic, many more to come. A great Tour for the team.

At least Ruben was able to keep that top5 spot
You can only be happy about the team perfomance in Le Tour, stage win + Top5 GC + KoM + U25

It's incredible how Ruben has progressed over the last couple of months. We might have a future GT winner on our hands here. And having conquered Alpe d'Huez, Eder could go looking for the won-a-stage-in-each-GT statute in next year's Giro at the age of only 23. Couldn't have asked for more on our first try in France.

Was a very close call in the end indeed, with former World ITT champion Talansky going so hard on his terrain. Nonetheless our first Tour de France will be looked back at happily by everyone on our team.

Tour de France (2.UWT) Stage 21/21, 146.1 kms
An unexpected situation developed after the intermediate sprint. This 10-man group with all top sprinters put more and more time into the bunch. Mainly because nobody felt like pacing anymore. The victor sat out front. Bauhaus delivered Marcel Kittel, who is yet to land a stage victory in this Tour. Launching early surprised everyone but the green jersey, Coquard. The latter wouldn't leave any doubt about who's the strongest sprinter of the field this year. No changes in the GC, so Kelderman lands his second GT win, as the team's TDF debut ends with 2 prestigious jerseys bagged. RTP Internacional to co-sponsor RuralvÃa July 31st, 2019 RTP, short for Portugal's public service broadcasting organization Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, has been confirmed as RuralvÃa's co-sponsor for next year. On today's press conference, few other details were disclosed.
Team manager José Manuel Hernandez stated that RTP's investments will 'definitely help the Spanish team to take another step up'. On top of that he also revealed that re-signing Ruben Guerreiro, 5th overall in le Tour, would have been next to impossible without this brand new partner. That was his way to announce the Portuguese climber's new 3-year deal with RuralvÃa. More transfers news's to be declared some time later this week.

Luckily they didn't want to see Guerreiro move into Team Sky's jersey either.

Circuito de Getxo 2019 (1.1) PaÃs Vasco, 163.1 kms
After the first break was reeled back in the above duo became the BOTD: Cannondale's Matteo Montaguti & Burgos BH's Madrilenian Jesús Herrero. Charles Casse joined them 30km from the finish, but the trio was caught only 10 kms later. Only a single lap left to go before a likely uphill sprint. Movistar neutralised a few attacks and then struck themselves. Roy Jans sacrificed his personal chances to provide Jhonatan Restrepo with a huge advantage ahead of the last bump as Thurau launched first in the bunch. Restrepo put to use his significant gap and easily won today's race. Pello Bilbao sprinted to second place before Bora - Hansgrohe's Björn Thurau. They've got to learn it sometime.

Winning jerseys at le Tour and being able to keep top notch riders, 2 big signs that our team has really established itself in the World Tour environment by now. We can only be happy about that.

I lot of things to catch up on...
First of all, brilliant from Guerreiro at the Tour. For a first timer, this was a special occasion. U25s win to boot. Chavarri putting the icing on the cake with the KOM win. Great result at Getxo for Bilbao too. July was a very good month for the team.
Interesting transfers. Dayer and Battaglin immediately catch the eye while Oliveira is another one capable of doing well. Sad to see Intxausti retire and wasn't expecting Fraile to leave, but they have been well replaced.
All the best in San Sebastien

Felt amazing to see Ruben's gradual progress come to a (probable) high for this season. He was already surprisingly strong at Tour de Suisse and only got even better from then on. At this rate he might be ready to aim for a GT podium next year.
Chávarri's win was definitely one to remember atop such a renowned col. If he were to ride next year's Giro he could become a stage winner in every GT at a very, very young age. Bilbao's second was a great way to conclude the month.

We had to let some leave sadly, big performances ask for big paychecks. A prime Intxausti's a big loss but Colla, Dayer and Battaglin should provide great support in the mountains, as Oliveira can do this on every route. Palmero's a promising climber too but he'll be out with a fractured knee cap for some time.
López Gil could become Argentinian Gaviria, yet it will ask some time given his age. Hopefully Olivares and Bayarri will fit in nicely within our train, and Cortes will be able to replace Lature (2nd in Roubaix this year).
All the best in San Sebastien
Thank you! Hopefully we won't end up with 3 consecutive second places.
