Imagine if that was a footballer, they would be crying and then have 6months off to recover |

Who will win today then?
Cheering for a surprise by Ludvigsson, not for the win realistically but top 10/5 would have been nice. Lacking some real success since Gustav Larsson medals... |

I would be surprised if Dumoulin will not win today. There are several riders that can reach top 5/3. But as a Pole I'm hoping for great time by Bodnar . |

While I agree that footballers are a bit soft in general, the recovery time in football is very different compared to cycling. In cycling you need to recover to be able o be in a set position on a bike while when you play football you have to be able to go into tackles, make contact, jump etc. s the recovery time is way higher since you end up risking followup injuries way more.

I'm really scared for the cyclists up the final climb, it's way to many people for already small roads. At least one scandal must happen.

the british commentators are saying that Tony will take a bike change, since he's looking for something else to blame. what morons...Tony actually never blamed anyone else besides himself.

Exactly, you can't compare the two in anyway.
In football for instance you can use substitutes. Why would a player want to/need to carry on with such an injury?
Whilst I applaud the girl for carrying on a showing real guts (I don't want to say bravery because at the end of the day it's just riding a bike), the people trying to use it to have a go at footballers are simply ignoring/not understanding the basic differences between the sports.

UCI shouldn't have allowed to change bike before the climb imo. |

Roche didn't change bike and gained 27 seconds on Kelderman in the last section. |
