Anyone else who uses NFL Game Pass Europe? Thinking about buying it but the trial is not convincing me.

The commercials are no longer cut out and it's not possible to move 10 secs forwards or backwards in the browser version. So every timeout i have to randomly click on the timeline to skip it. Very annoying.

Apparently feedback last year was to include ad's, and i quite like having them in rather than blank screen. Although i can't wait for them to completely removed from VOD, which apparently is being worked on.
Lacking +/-10" in browser i think is a consequence of NFL focusing on mobile viewing and making all the offerings the same/similar. But, eh i don't care too much.

As for Game Pass overall. Had it for the playoffs last year, so incredibly usefull for us non US fans. Luckily in the UK we've got Sky and BBC who do some good NFL coverage, but even they weren't doing all playoff games. It works really well and consistently.
But f*ck me if i'm paying £140! That's insane money for a single sport subscription service. More so when we still get blackout games in europe, so that's £140 for not every game live.
I thought Essential at £85 might be worth a shot, but only 1 live game per week isn't great and even worse when it's a game i don't care about (like this week it's Bears vs Buccaneers... don't give a flying f*ck to watch that one live). And it only gives that one game as full reply!!!! And it doesn't give Archive/Films access. Really it cuts way too much content to be a valid option.

Essential is more expensive than a year's basic Netflix subscription. And give i could get Netflix AND Amazon Prime for £170 (which really is a huge amount more content and features), not much more than NFL.... yeah Game Pass is just too expensive.

Continuing my rant on how expensive Game Pass is... I could get Sky Sports, who show multiple NFL games per week as well as more sports than i could physically watch, for LESS than Game Pass.... yeah, wtf NFL... (and that would include all the other Sky TV channels as well, and i could probably bundle in phone or internet without going too far over Game Pass cost....)

Wanted to give my thoughts so far after Week 1:

- Cincinnati is going to suck this year.
- Both LA teams look impressive, especially the Rams. Hoping Miami can start off strong against LAC.
- Sam Bradford looks amazing in Minnesota this year, could be a threat to Green Bay.
- Jacksonville could surprise and win their division, which would certainly be a shock.
- Patriots are overrated. Yes I said it. They looked terrible in Week 1, granted I think Kansas City is going to be very good, NE cannot stop the run.
- Dallas is looking good Rolling Eyes

Awful awful week 1, but i think they've got enough in the team to come back and be in the conversation for WildCard places.

- Both LA teams look impressive, especially the Rams. Hoping Miami can start off strong against LAC.

Rams just needed rid of Fisher. There's a good team there and they will be and intersting one to follow. I'm worried about their recievers not being able to back up Goff though.

- Sam Bradford looks amazing in Minnesota this year, could be a threat to Green Bay.

We said thesame about the Vikings last year at 6-0, we know how that ended... Not gonna match Green Bay though, the Pack is too good.

- Jacksonville could surprise and win their division, which would certainly be a shock.

Texans suck offensively, Colts just kinda suck and Titans are too inconsistent. Someone has to with the division, might as well be the Jags. But they'll be instatly dumped from the playoffs.

- Patriots are overrated. Yes I said it. They looked terrible in Week 1, granted I think Kansas City is going to be very good, NE cannot stop the run.

Patriots will win the AFC East. Cruise to the AFC Championship. And fall in the Superbowl. 1 week does not make a season, Belicheick will sort it out.

- Dallas is looking good Rolling Eyes

Their defence will let them down in the end, again.

WEEK 2 Thoughts:

- Same as week 1. Cincinnati is going to suck this year. I am guessing they have a bad game against Green Bay and sign Colin K ending the blackout.

- I take back what I said about both LA teams looking impressive. I need to see more from the Rams first. Chargers would be 2-0 if they had a good kicker. They are sticking with Younghoe. The fans in LA suck. I was at the Penn State college game with 102,000 people and both LA games combined had about 57k.

- Atlanta looks very strong again, I have them at #1 in my power rankings. (In spoiler below). Kansas City best AFC team so far.

- Someone please save the AFC South from extinction! Send some AFC West teams over Pfft

- Not so sure about Dallas after how easily they seemed to give up this week. Philadelphia put up a fight with KC and could be on the way to a division win.

- It is once again not looking like the year of the running back in the NFL. Passing is becoming very very dominant in the NFL.

One team was understandable from a commercial aspect, LA is a huge potential market. Two in two years was always going to be too many, especially when both teams arn't that good. Lucky the Raiders arn't moving down as well!
Give it a few years and more fans will start showing up, it's going to take some time to build a fanbase away from College games. Rams i think have the ability to do so. A headstart on Chargers, a young promising QB, a powerful D and an entertaining RB in Gurley. They can get there, give them time. (Chargers though, lol, they'll be moving on again in a few years when fans continue to not turn up).

A good RB can transform an ok offence into a great one. But with all the QB and WR protection rules in place it's by far the safest option to build a team around the Pass over the run. I can't think of a single RB currently in the league i'd prioritise getting over a QB. A few years ago Lynch maybe, or Peterson, but not now. They have a role, but the QB dominated era has really only just started (and lets not forget the NFLs moves away from impact following it's concussion scandals).

Also i think you're underating the Jag's and Saints (and obviously Seahawks Pfft). And that's a lot of love for the Broncos, i just can't believe in them over a season with that QB.

I believe the Jags had a fluke win on Week 1. The Saints I can agree with you on and almost had them a tad higher than where they are now. As far as Denver, that defense looks scary good and so far so good for the QB situation. Seattle would have been higher if they didn't barely beat SF Pfft

I've never been more embarrassed to watch the Dolphins than I was last night. They always bite the dust when playing in prime-time with the exception of one game last year.

I was wrong about Matt Moore. I thought he could be a viable starter instead of Cutler but sadly he showed last night why he is a very good backup but thats all he will ever be. I was so optimistic after how good he did to end last year.

2 more prime-time games coming up in a row. Hoping Jay Cutler is healthy for Oakland next week and that was something I never thought I would say. Looking ahead to 2018 it looks more and more like Tannehill is going to get another chance at it.

How can an NFL team win dominantly 3 weeks in a row and then look worse than the Browns for 3 weeks. Miami is statistically the worse 4-3 team in NFL history, they have been outscored by over 50 points and rank last in offense.

I don't know what to think right now.

Pats, Steelers, Jags, Chargers + Ravens, Chiefs
Eagles, Vikings, Saints, Rams + Panthers, Seahawks

Although the final AFC and NFC spots are hard to call.
Chargers seem to have found a rythm to get them the West.
Ravens i think have the quality Defence to get them there, and the consistency. But Chiefs are all over the place, Bills lack at QB, Titans are erratic and Raiders are inconsistent.
Saints have a more consistently complete package than Carolina for the South, if Newton misfires that team struggles. Seahawks have a marginally easier schedule and the magic feet of Wilson to get them over the line, just. Falcons will miss out because they have to play Saints and Panthers. Packers needed Rodgers, but will cause enough struggle to cancel out themselves and Detroit. Cowboys, nah mate.

You are forgetting Miami in your AFC scenario, I think its between them and Baltimore. I think Carolina will miss the cut and Atlanta will squeeze in.

I could feel that Patriots loss coming last night. Bad feeling.

At least now we can sit back and watch all the Brady-Haters talking about how old he is. The League MVP and SB MVP in february Cool

Nah, Miami just don't have it. They played well yesterday but are lack the consistency and star power of the other teams around them.

@Hillis - Brady for MVP, please no... Wilson's been far more impressive at QB, carrying the Seahawks singlehandedly for the majority of the season. Same for Newton. Throw Gurley in the mix as well for the Rams. I'd say Clayborn is in there as well from a defencsive side.
