And i would like to remind some people here, that we are talking about proven doper, that was stripped of some of his wins because of that. You are celebrating one of the guys that actively helped to ruin the image of the sport, with especially lame excuse to justify his domination. so you're reminding people that see something fun in the current racing that is going on that people shouldn't see the fun in it cause it's because of a person's past?
Just remind him he can't enjoy Sagan's wins because Sagan has been an ass a few times before.
Thanks for the opinion, but you missed the point by few miles, comparing subjective look on someones acting with proven facts about guy who is discussed here as greatest legend of the sport.
Also "Merckx was also doping" is usual stupid argument...you can hardly compare the times when 100% of riders used something, without even knowing its effects and times when the doping is science of its own and everybody is very well aware about its effects and damaging impact on the sport as the whole.
Btw. i smell double account around you...

Merckx tested positive 3 times. No one talks about it when saying he's the greatest rider of all time. That being said, he's the greatest rider of all time.
Doesn't excuse the doping but he tested positive (and like most, disputed it) for Amphetimines which actually have a negative effect on performance, they just thought it improved performance back then.
Plus the Clenbuterol he was sentenced for was of such small micro dosage that is literally has had no effect and the sentence is largely seen in a political sense (and yes, Clen is mostly for camouflaging I know that but we are refering to the sentence here) but who's keeping count in a sport where potentially every rider is a culprit and likely actually is. I rather enjoy the racing.

Bahrain seem to have a bit of a gap in the descent. The shark is in known waters now.

Flecha living dangerously.
Horses on the wrong side (or was it UK horses coming on the left side like the crazy old lady years ago) AND then Sir Sky himself pops up.

So they are softpedaling Cordal as well even after the group was down to 15-20 at one point?

Soler slided right across the road there, really tricky descent in that weather and that light (sun through the trees).
