Kämna finished 8th today at the vuelta time trial. Good shoutout for the future, and cio must be very happy I imagine with that result. Smile

It's gonna be so epic when we finally get to June 2021 and this thread'll actually be used as the pre-Tour tread Grin

Good call!!! Pretty good result for a 20 year old and looking at his stats he's light enough to develop his climbing and turn into a stage racer.

Good chances that we should just entirely remove Adrien Costa, unfortuntely.

He hasn't raced since April, which makes me want to believe that he's given up on cycling altogether. If the death of Chad Young affected him so much, I don't blame him for retiring - the death of one your teammates is very hard to overcome.

He said in an interview he wanted to study and travel around Europe, prepare himself for the future in broad areas instead of exclusively focusing on cycling. I don't think the motivation's there anymore, plus, given this extended break, I doubt he will show his capacities in the near future. It will be a pity but it's also an understandable choice, to be fair. We're all human in the end of the day.

Who wants to win the TdF when you can be world champion instead? Wink

Well that has been a mighty shoutout for 2021.

He was just so incredible in Utah last year, man...

Oh well. Speaking of today, I really don't think Kamna has what it makes for GT's, but he is very young indeed so who knows. Oomen will probably babysit Tom Dumo in the high mountains in the future, but he showed good signs in La Vuelta.

Can I add Marc Soler to the poll btw?

Pro Cycling is the perfect job to do so..?

I assume without the pressure of racing.

Costa should be back to racing in 2018, the absence he has taken was for the rest of the 2017 season.

Oomen with another stand-out performance in autumn, as he gets 10th in Il Lombardia.
