Our votes and the profiles in the races aren't as close as I was hoping.
Close in Poland though, surprising that Kwiatek lost the sprint and unfortunate for him but at least he got the ITT.
Thanks Croatia and Abhishek for the results!

Kwiatek had to make a rough effort to get back to Majka, he most likely suffered from that.
For profiles, remember that last years races are taken into account as well: that is why f.e. Italy will be a flat race more likely than a hilly one - Belgium was a tough decision, as there were votes for cobbles and mountains equally, and we went for the more obvious option - Switzerland was raced before your proposal came in
edit: and Poland was hilly, as you wished for

Luckily our Syrian refuge won his race, or we would be shirtless again.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Nice job getting back by Kwiatek then, good to have some context to his result, thanks
Belgium had 2-1 votes Mountain to Cobbles but it's fair enough given cobbles makes more sense. No problem for those though.

Meh had hoped for someone else than Contador (why I voted on flat) but alas, gladly accept the NC. It'll be a bit of weird look tho in the peloton his new NC.

Why? Wouldn't it look weird with every other rider of your team then too?

Disappointing not to get the Swiss NC, but anyway decent result from Erdin I guess.
Thanks for the report Abhishek!

Thanks again Croatia
Nice to see the team sharing the Dutch Jersey round, Terpstra helped Veelers win it last year and this time Veelers returns the favour, maybe next year they'll be behind Havik. Athough it's weird by PCM because it seems like it was better suited to Veelers.

Yes that's why I wanted a flat course. But since Contador is my most prominen rider, we will now see way more often.

Yay, I'm not the only one to prefer his stars in the normal team jersey

Three more NCs for you: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1250005
USA: High Mountains
Colombia: Mountain
Russia: Flat
EDIT: Story of the Races
Spoiler
USA: Early attack from Butler and Chris Horner got a huge lead. While the pack's relentless chasing got back Horner, Butler's next attack with about a third left proved too much.
Colombia: Eight man early break with a couple of heavyweights including the younger Quintana. Were caught one by one by one. Decisive attack on last climb by Uran and Betancur. Nairo closed gap on descent to finish. Betancur out of steam at the end.
Russia: Attack with 5 km to go from Serebryakov caught the more fancied names by surprise.

Oh Rig in the Colombian NC is a surprise - expected a Quintana vs. Betancur battle, but I like this too!

4 more exotic NCs done, with 3 mountain NCs in Eritrea, Kazakhstan and Norway while we had a flat race in South Africa.
Spoiler Huge time gaps in Eritrea and Kazakhstan all created on the last climb, no breakaway victories here. In both races the favourites (Kudus, Kozhatayev) seemed to be happy with the situation, so that nobody took up the chase in the final 10 kilometers. Turned out well for Pedal Africa, not so for Italo...

Siskevicus so close
Nice for a couple of PureBlack riders to grab NCs and especially good for Mikel to get the double. Decent mountain performances from Nicolas and Mikel in their respective races and above all fantastic performance in NZ to grab the win and dominant in the minor placings.
