Are you on crack? Sky has by far the most money in the world tour.
"By far"
I remember Paul Voß saying, that Bahrain Merida and UAE have more. Also BMC is on par with Sky. Basically the differences between WT teams were quite small, according to him.

This is from last year, or going into this year.
https://www.cyclin...get-262275 - Sky 35 mio euros
https://www.cyclin...da-riders/ - Bahrain Merida 18 mil euros.
https://www.cyclin...eam-313168 - UAE only had a budget this year of 10 mio euro so even with the increased budget they will get, they are still a good chunk away from Sky.
They have more money, simple as that. |

xDD
Are you seriously suggesting that Bahrain and UAE have a bigger budget than Sky for 2017? Its really not that difficult, just look at the riders in the teams, lmao. Next year they might be getting closer tho since there are a lot of rumours of riders going to those teams. But for this year, Sky is more than tripling at least UAE. It does not take a space scientist to come to that conclusion |

Bahrain and UAE might have the money but RIGHT NOW they are not using it. UAE Roster is basically Lampre 2.0. The payroll is nowhere near close to Sky right now. |

Yeah, we are talking payroll, money spent on riders. And Sky are spending, without a doubt, the most in the peloton at this moment. I mean, look at their team. |

Guys everybody knows that the three top paid riders in the peloton are 1) Sagan 2) Froome and 3) Meintjes.

I did not talk about the payroll. Please don't assume that.

But when people are saying budget its basically = payroll, the amount you are spending on contracts for riders. Then I bet Astana also have bigger budget, Katusha etc etc., but thats a pretty irrelevant discussion |

What rider are you talking about? Which Trek is this "Zubeldia"?
Is that an italian nickname? Is it Nizzolo?

Kwiatkowski deserved something after that awesome Tour.
What a rider btw, you'd almost forget he is only 27. Great win!
Good to see Dumoulin up there against all the super compensation TDF riders. Hope this triggers him to try more classics. |

on another note: what happened before and after the race to celebrate Haimar Zubeldia's last race was absolutely awesome - great job by his team Trek, the organisators of CSS for making all this possible and of course all the participating people to make it one of the most emotional moments I have ever had following cycling
