I want to invite you to play online with me and my friends. Since years I host Multiplayer games at several evenings a week. Most of the time, we play Time Trials, Mountain Stages and Mini Tours.
We use the current PCM.Daily DB but I always edit it in that way that I raise up some Mountain, Hill and Time Trail stats because when you play online with 8+ players its boring to play if only 6 teams are competitive and all others are absolute chanceless due to their weak stats. We play only for fun, not for coins or points in the ranking.
You could say this is not 100% realistic, but our main goal is to have fun together and the stats changes are not to excessive so that the results of the races and tours are realistic at all.
It's not most important for us who wins the stages, we like to have fun together and often talk about cycling while playing.
Sometimes we decide to play races with weaker teams, because it’s boring to always play with SKY, Movistar or other World Tour teams. Sometimes, it’s more fun to make a Time Trail with Continental Teams, for example.
Before the start of a race you see which race it is. When you use the Sponsorkits patch, you can switch out of the game by pressing ALT+TAB and change the Sponsorkit to the one of the race. You don’t need to quit the game for that. So it always looks fantastic ingame.

There is a thing we do not like to happen. When a game is open and people join the game, they want the game to start immediately by saying “go, go, go!” I hate that! We always wait some minutes to give others a chance to join us.
Often there are connection problems and people who have been playing the last race with us need a little time to get back in the Lobby to join us again.
And because of the many connection problems we are always so kind to wait a bit for them. Please respect that, because if you had a slow connection or had connection problems, you would be happy if someone waited for you. |

Are there any users interested to play some Mini tours or stages with me?
I would host them and it would be fine to find some users that are friendly, fair and like cycling sport. |

I just randomly fell over a Danish streamer doing PCM17 online MP games with viewers. I managed to get into two games, one with Giro stages and one with Tour de Suisse stages. Played with Nibali both times and won both. Even beat Froome in the Giro! In Suisse we agreed that Froome should be banned.

My idea is to start something like a Online League where we can play the classics and stage races from this season, the Grand Tours would not have all 21 stages, I would only play then 5-8 stages so that we can play them in between 2 evenings. The ide is then to have 2 evenings a week where we meet in the Lobby and have fun together. And the main goal would be fun and fair games and for me its not so important who win the race. Its more like having fun with friend that also like cycling.
Are there some of you interested to to play such events with me? |

Definitely. Would be great to have a group of guys that enjoy playing PCM and don't push x2 all time. I would also suggest to play these races with this years startlists, since this is much more fun and challanging because certain teams wouldn't be that OP. |

I created a special Multiplayer Database, depending on the PCM.daily Lite Pack DB.
There are some adjustments that make some captains and helpers better in the mountains and at the Time Trails. This is not 100% realsitic, but I focused on the gameplay because when you play with 8+ players its boring when you can choose your team as 7th player and all good teams are gone and you are chanceless while playing a Mini Tour. That is then very sad for this players.
Now the teams are a bit more balanced, its not like a Ladder DB but it gives more players a chance to end in a good position.
All my experiences with that DB was very good, sometimes we had one or two players asking why some riders have some higher values, but at the end I think everybody was pleased with the results.
I think we should always be at least reliable 6 players at minimum and the room should be open at 45 minutes before the start and the players should be online 20-30 minutes before the start of the race, because sometimes they need to download the DB and this takes often a while depending on their connection speed.
I would offer you all that we could play always on Thursday and Sunday evening at 18:00 UTC
Would be fine to find some players from the forum... |
