It's in the last week of September, around Day 23 or something.
The World Championship isn't in calendar because first the game will need to choose the riders for the national team. If you have the luck to be selected the race will appear in the calendar.
I think the selection is 2, 3 weeks before World Championship.
Ah okok. And after the selecion it appears in calendar? Need to know the course to know if it fits to me or not.. I am Portuguese, i think already better than rui costa, so i will be selected i think ..
Other thing, when you guys accept the contracts? Can i wait till the end of the year to check all the transfer and then choose the team? |

What is peoples experiance with pre-season programe here? Like if you have a rider that want to be in form for Paris-Nice and Giro what is best then. Medium pre-season then start to practice harder or hard pre season then litle bit easyer practice programe? |

I got a question: Is it possible to change the Speciality from a rider? I mean is it possible to training a young talent from a puncheur/time driver into a climber?

Depends on the stat limits in your save game. Usually, riders are rather limited in their potential specialisation, unless they're very talented. For example, time trialers very rarely have the potential to go higher than maybe 72 mountain.
You can always change those stat limits in an editor though.

Maintaining high fitness should accumulate more tiredness than training harder.

Am im the only one who still always simulate Sanremo? I hate to do it, since... well, since it's Sanremo... But, it's just so frustrating and the same everytime. High pace over the last hills but still well over 100people in the peleton and over the last hill they stop. Since all sprinters are farther behind in the peleton, so it's like every team wait for there sprinter, and kind of narrow road so you get blocked the entire way from the top to the last 300meters...
So you only option is to go to 99% with the sprinter to keep him att the front, which will kill all sprinters who is not Sagan, Matthews and people like that or join the block fest and watch helpers win since leaders are all blocked. Or the times you manage to get your sprinter to position, it feels like a boring and empty win since all other sprinters are blocked so you beat people like Adam Hansen in the sprint and not Kittel etc... |

In career mode is there any deadlines to the sponsor extension offers? Sponsorship deal with FDJ ends after this season, and I remember from my test save with QuickStep that I got a message that they want to renew contract, but no details about budget or deadline to accept. So is there any deadlines or can I wait to renew until I can check offers from other sponsors?
Also as mentioned, so stupid that still in PCM17 you get no details about budget from contract extension, so how can you know if its best to find a new or resign... |

25 October is the deadline afaik.

I've just started season 2 and is surprised that my balance hasn't been improved by the sponsors. Could it be true that the starting balance is all the money you'll get from the sponsors? |

I was in doubt wether I should buy it or not and I'll have to say that I think it's a far better game than 15 and 16 so far. I just finished Tour of Portugal (11 stages) and it hasn't been until the Danish championships I saw major graphical bugs. The entire spring was flawless and I have had no crashes or anything else like that.
Progression of Be a Pro mode seems faster than the last two editions. I haven't played other than Be a Pro yet. (Bought it last night) |

Am I the only one who finds that this game is really easy? In Valencia I have won all races (2x 1-2-3).
The AI don't attack and you can easily win the sprints... |

Sorry if the question has already been asked but the major reason I didn't buy PCM 16 was because of the problems with riders Objectives in career mode. Has this been sorted out? Are we back to what it was in PCM 15 for example? |

Has anybody worked out the scale at which Tiredness reduces fitness?
In other words will my rider with 80% tiredness effectively be reduced to 20% fitness? What is a reasonable level for the end of season? |
