Hi!
I remember older PCMs generated new stages for every year after the first in Career Mode, it's not happening in this one with the PCM daily pack.
Is there something I need to do to activate it?
thanks |

We didn't add them yet in the Lite Pack, they'll be there in the Expansion Pack. For now, the best you can do is download the 2010-2016 variants by emmea from the Steam Workshop

Thanks a lot!
Does that 2010-2016 work with existing saves? (assuming you have to complete the current season, of course) |

Will the explansionpack work (overwrite) the lite pack (in a saved game) when its available? (New jerseys, variants, logos etc)

You'll see new jerseys, variants and logos as well as a few other graphics related things, but you'll need to start a new career to fully enjoy the changes of the Expansion Pack.

Unluckily enough, I installed the variants through the Steam Workshop and the game did not generate those new stages after my past season ended. I got the same calendar as last year.
I checked and the game lets me choose the variants when I click in start new career, so I guess the game detects them as independent databases and not really variants.
Sucks, it ruined my save, not willing to do the same calendar for the third straight year... |

Please guys, can someone tell me how to make those variants from the Workshop actually work even if it's after this season? |

Take a weeklysave as close to the start of the season as possible. Then just edit in sta_race and sta_stage the variant name for each race you want to change and load the weeklysave by copying it in My Docs\PCM 17\Cloud\Users\You and opening it in game.

Thanks.
Would it work to copy the files downloaded from the Workshop to CM_Stages folder and then the game will generate the new variants from there without doing anything else? |

Oh I thought you did this already. Make sure you load a weeklysave from before January 1st though, in that case.

I think I will just complete the season like this so that the game picks up those variants.
Would this work? |

Just to make sure, I don't have to rename the files I downloaded or anything like that, right? |

I'm a bit confused. I subscribed to Emmea's Worldtour variants, but when I start a new career, it asks me to choose PCM Daily Lite database, or one if Emmea's Worldtour variants, either 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 or 2016.
If I choose PCM Daily Lite database, does the variants automatically appear in the PCM Daily Lite? Or am I supposed to choose them all (I don't think that is possible).

The easiest thing to do is to copy all the files from emmea's packs to the CM_Stages folder in your main game folder, so that they apply in all careers.

Bad news, everyone. The variants generated only for some races after copying every stage of ennea on CM_Stages. Paris-Nice and Tour worked, for example, but Tirreno, Giro or Vuelta didn't work.
Don't know what's going on really...What can I do?

For what is worth, I just copied the ennea stages from the workshop into CM-Stages, did nothing else. I assume that something within the filenames of thsoe stages is wrong, because the Tdf picked up the variants... |
