To many suggestion about stats is based on the first week of the tour alone. Absolutely pointless. You have to consider the whole season, and last season as well if you are playing career. Because the stat you give a rider, will be his max. level of performance, which he in your game might not reach in the tour - just like in real life

The stat you give a rider is his average performance, when he is in a good form...

Cav 2016: 4 tour, kittel 1
This tour is easy as f. for Kittel. Sagan out, Cavendish out.
Mark had good performance at Tour and could fight for a win the 4th stage, Kittel was 13th.
This season Kittel was better at Dubai Tour, Cavendish at Abu Dhabi..

George Bennet 1st at Tour of California (Rafał Majka 2nd - MO 79) also pretty good in Tour de France

Valverde ITT: Critérium du Dauphiné 3rd, Vuelta al Pais Vasco 2nd, Vuelta a Andalucia 2nd

Michał Kwiatkowski: 1st at National Championships Poland - ITT, 2nd Białobłocki (TT 75) +1:15, 3rd Bodnar (TT 77) 1:31

Cavendish: Recovery 77->79
G. Bennet: MO 76-> 78/79
Valverde: TT 74 -> 76/77
Kwiatkowski: TT 75 ->76/77

Cav hasn't completed a GT since 2015 and in general his sta and rec have been going down so no need to raise any of those, the only long race that he's done well in over the last couple of years was the 2016 WC RR. which of course affects his sta
Bennett- That's way too high, every year riders like Bennett finish high in a GT and quite often they never reach that form again, better to see how he goes before giving him anything higher than 77 as there are also nearly 2 weeks left.
Valverde- You may have missed an exercise we did some weeks ago where it was mentioned that GT riders do better than their TT stats in races quite simply because they are GT guys, so to mitigate that a bit we have lowered mostly all the GT guys by a point of which Valverde was one of course to give TT specialists better possibilities in stage races.
Kwiat- His performances in TT's vary quite a bit but that one I will make a note against and look in more detail again.

In reference to some of the riders mentioned and what they will be (depending on rest of Tour of course)

Quintana 82 (has only really been an 83 in the Vuelta, an 82 in the Giro and more like an out of form 81 in both Tours.
Aru- 81
Contador- 80
Fuglsang- 78 or 79 (leaning towards 79)
Uran could also go back upto 79 as well if he keeps it up.

I Would say Fuglsang should be 79 or Even 80. He has always been very strong in the mountains as a luxury helper for first the Schleck brothers and later Nibali, now he has developed into a winner. As the helper for big gc riders he was One of the last to drop from the favorite group.
Now he is current top 5 in tdf, won the dauphine and finished 2nd in the olympics.
Unfortunately he has always had One Day in the Grand tour where he has been dropped for good, so the backup stats should not be in the high high end, maybe at the 73-75 level.
The Danish heart i saying 80 but atleast 79. Smile

Cav and Valverde Ok.
I think Bennett is a little underrated, mb not at mo, but look overall.
2016:
Criterium du Dauphiné - 14th,
Vuelta a España-10th(!)
2017:
Abu Dhabi 7th,
Volta Ciclista a Catalunya 9th
Vuelta al Pais Vasco 11th
Amgen Tour of California 1st

Kwiato - we must know, that he is helper and not always get free hand.

Evrything will be clear after 20 stage Wink

it might be worth testing that again in pcm17 now

in the last patch they made changes to how the stats are used and made the yellow bar empty slower so HI and FL are much more useful in TTs now and MO less so

tobgunn123
edvald boasson hagen should get 78 sprint, atleast, even though there are less Springers left

gvarv
Another sprint stage and another heartbreak for EBH; though I am partying like it is 2011! Really didnt think he could get back to such explosiveness and speed again! Kudos to the Boss!

Kittel? 83 Sprint!! 82 Acc?!?

agreed, especially with sagan's 79, since i think his 80 sprint is overrated, most of the times he is just on the Best's wheel, and dont take much wind, and gets like 2nd and 3rd, like degenkolb and... groenewegen i think

No, but just wondering... i feel the descline age is just fucked up, and it doesnt matter if you change it in an editor

matt17br
Yep, decline age column is not working anymore since PCM 15 and the riders' declining is based off other factors.

do you know how? since there's a lot of riders decline i want to change

matt17br
You can't change how quickly riders decline. Potential, age, current stats, training and a random component are just some of the factors.
