When Froome had a problem and was waiting for the team car, he was riding in a weird gear for a while. He's so funny when something unexpected happens. Last year with his Ventoux Marathon and his small bike. This, too.
I love Froome. He's like this autistic man and when something goes off-schedule, he's so funny to observe! |

Smart choice. Fuglsang and Bardet together at the front could have been very very interesting though!

Yes it is. But look at yesterday statistic. It isn't normal.
Porte ..out of the tour crash
Thomas..out of the tour crash
Martin..crashed twice
Contador..crashed twice
Majka..almost out of the tour crash
Bloodbath. This guys know how descent, still absolutely mad day. |

Found this on ProCyclingStats:
Most stage wins
1 MERCKX Eddy 34-18-11
2 CAVENDISH Mark 30-3-4
3 HINAULT Bernard 28-0-0
If this is true, it's kind of impressive. For all three:
Merckx with a million podium places.
Cavendish almost as much victories but not too many other podium spots.
Hinault either win or not. No 2nd or 3rd place for him, it seems. Is this true? Very remarkable if it is! |

Also I think they should stop finshing on Champs-Elysée per se.
Last few years they do something the 20th stage in the South and then they actually fly back for that final stage. It's not necessary I think. Either you're in Paris or around it and you finish there, or you're in the Alps and you finish the race with a MTT or something
Doesn't even have to be mountainous. Finishing circuit in Nice, Marseille... Could be fun. |

Don't think that Hinault thing is true. If you check the stages he's won, you'll see that PCS has only included 1 rider per stage, so that all rider podiums are not taken into account

lol stop downplaying Kittel. Hes clearly on top form here and you can put any active sprinter on the start line Kittel will still win unless he fucks up because it seems like all he needs is Sabatini these days whereas in Giant days he needed a perfect leadout. |

John degenkolb nice sprint considering he is there alone.
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

And considering, that he rides still under pain, because of the Sagan crash.
