Will say a lot about this Denk guy how he handles this. Brailsford, Unzue, Lefevre they get this overturned i'm sure

Lol 100 journo's and not one of them bothered to ask why they first DQ'd him and an hour later threw him out

UCI rules (at least on paper) give no room for appeal by Sagan though.
So not sure Denk can do anything here.

Sagan is going for an ever decreasing gap thats just dangerous riding. Its almost the same thing he did to Vantomme at G-W. Kristoff did nothing wrong there lol

The gap was the same size when Greipel went through it as it was when Sagan tried to, it only narrowed in the last 0.5 seconds before the crash or so.

This gap is big enough to go through, and the crash happens maybe 10-15 metres later.

He shouldve backed out at this point but keeps pushing I mean thats by definition dangerous riding. Hes risking a crash by trying to follow wheels at all cost.

"Great" analyzis guys!
Did, did not, did, did not.
Riis is wrong also there ..even with that success Sagan is still great person and respected at peloton. even victim Cav. Did say that as first thing.
Calling Cavedish as Cavenshit or what ever is just lame. Man has earned some respect. He did not demanded that Sagan should be out of the race.

I love how Demare totally hit Bouhani and was probably just as dangerous as Sagan and Cav but gets no penalty.

Riis123
Good chances Démare would have won green regardless. The guy is faster than Sagan in a flat sprint and considering the route and the margin he would have had, he would be my favourite. Arnaud has taken a step up.

Demare's move was dangerous too, no doubt.

Also if Bouhanni/Cofidis do not complain, Demare won`t be punished.

So obviously there was no official complain.

Cavendish made the initial contact with his head on Sagan's hip, trying to force a non-eexistant gap. Cav and Sagan both lose balance, Sagan puts out his elbow and knee, Cav finds the barrier. No contact after the first made by Cavenshit. Cavenshit should be penalized for endangering Degenkolb and Swift (and all others).

Did you see the overhead shot? The gap was there....

Why no complain from Cofidis. It was pretty clear

They did tho, but Nacer is complaining about everything. Especially when he is beaten by Arnaud. Wink

Sagan doesn't really have too many friends in the peloton, though.

Are you sure?

On official team twitter it all sounds like normal for them. Also I nowhere heard about an official complain by them.

No amount of braking could've saved that situation anymore. But there were absolutely no signs of this situation appearing at the time when braking would've still helped.

I don't know about official reports, but Nacer was very angry with Démare. I assume they have, why wouldn't they? But dno.

Riis123
Anyways, a decision such as this would surely help bring Sagan down to the ground for a while. So while it wasn't necessary, I applaud the officials for their balls to do it.

It certainly its as clearcut at the Cav one but I can see how this could influence the decision of the UCI jury. Its just the fact hes taking the risks that might cause a big pile-up.

Riis123
Sagan's removal of Vantomme still was more blatant, tho; that move was a disgrace.
