The TDF will get bashed more than Sagan if he gets DQ'ed...

Normally Eurosprts are first to support British riders. But they are also saying Cav had no where to go.

The TdF would just go on no matter if with Sagan or without.

The race is far bigger than one big name.

2 days of talking about Sagan and afterwards (or after first 1-2 mountain stages) no one would talk about Sagan again for the rest of the race.

While everybody is talking about Sagan here, Demare`s huge line change wasn`t mentioned really.

He went from far right to far left and did cut Bouhanni heavily.

I don`t mind this result but Bouhanni was backplaced couple times for such move. Pfft

Bouhanni finally had his mouth shut. Ever since leaving FDJ he was running his mouth how the team wasn't using him properly and how Madiot prefered Arnaud Demare and Thibault Pinot and that he was the "star" of the team.

Well, sprints are intensive and all in split seconds on what to do and how to win.
Wondering a bit how many of you have been in a sprint like this. Even at lower levels it's very scary sometimes and and elbows fly out all over the place. Keeping the damn bike on a straight line too is very hard indeed.

It's part of the fight in sprints, not always clean and "game-like"
Nice to have Demare winning his first.....

(and I got a bet scoring too, he-he)

There was a lot of talk about Froome's running at Mt. Ventoux last year for days.

This was funny though and something very special, which you see almost never.

True, but it fundamentally changed the GC in the Tour.

Sagan goes right to take Demare's wheel. Cav is behind and tries to go to the right of Sagan. There is no space to the right of Sagan. Crash.

Fixed it for you

Sagan was blocked by the guys in the front and tried to escape in the right. Bikes don't have any mirror so he could do nothing to avoid the crash.

The problem is, Sagan is nearly as big as the race, fun fact, my dad only wants to know and cares about where Peter Sagan finished and doesn't care or watch the race at all.

This doesn't apply for most other people, but for me this is a primary example, Sagan is very popular and some fans might even start a protest.

Anyways, so hyped for tomorrow Smile

But that doesn't change the fact that he elbowed Cav. In football a delibirate elbow would be instant red card. There are no two oppinions - Sagan should be disqualified. Even current and former cyclists agree

I think Sagan did not elbowed Cav. Cav was already falling down when Sagan elbow moved dangerously. Also probably the most dangerous move was made by Demare. From riding next to barricade to middle of the road.
