Dno if this is alrdy disgussed, if so, sorry
But, imo Fuglsang's stats should be changed. I know what he delivered in Dauphine comes as a surprise. However, i have a ongoing career, with him in my team - and cause of his age, he already declined in some of his stats. He is 75 in MO atm (Marts 2017 - First season). Imo to low.
Any thoughts? |

I recall that LottoNL Jumbo's Timo Roosen used to have a better COB stat. Am I mistaken or is he downgraded for some reason?
Looking at his rankings, he generally ends up somewhere around 15 to 20th position in the 'easier' races (E3, Omloop) and around 40-50th in RvV and Paris-Roubaix last year as a teammate who has given his all for his leader. Based on that I would say he deserves a little more than the 63 COB currently assigned in the Lite DB. I recall he used to have a 71 or 73 for it, but not sure whether that's from memory, because I don't have the old DB anymore - only the one I edited here and there Still, I thought he might deserve a little more than this. 73 sounds reasonable for someone with those rankings. Won't win anything, but will still be able to finish reasonably in lesser races.
Also, didn't he have more TT as well? He currently has a 69, but that looks a little meager for someone who was part of the WC TTT last year. He's no exceptional TTer, but should still be able to consistently push a 72 or 73 at least. Again, it won't win him any prizes, but he should be a tad better than 69 I believe.
I looked up his results from 2017 and it surprised me how he ended up on the podium in the Tour des Fjords in Norway. He finished podium, but also ended up 2nd in the Points ranking. Granted, he is part of the sprint train for Groenewegen, but still, the DB doesn't do him justice with a 64 for sprint and a 71 for flat, but I don't dare to recommend new values for that. For now, I'll stick to his COB and TT values. But if someone else can comment on his SP/FL, I would appreciate that.
I'm not sure what DB you are looking at but Roosen has better stats than what you've put. I just changed two by the odd point though based on your comments
Flat 72 to 73
Cobble 71 to 72
Hill 71
Sprint 70
TTT/Pro 69 and 70
Bear in mind as well that for TTT flat plays a big part and for that reason he may need better flat stats and also I'll look at his other stats in general.

He has 78 mo, at no point in the last 5 years or so we have lowered him to 75.

I think he means that Fuglsang has declined to 75mo by March first season and is questioning whether his starting stat should be upped to compensate this.

Well if Fuglsang continues his Dauphine form in the Tour then he will defo get an upgrade BUT on the other hand he may do a Talansky, which is why any stat suggestions should wait for the Tour and any other riders that are riding the Tour

Yep exactly.
And i agree with waiting and see if he keeps performing. However, if hes starting MO stat is at 78 - but already declining really quickly due to his age, is there a away to compensate for that, as sammy mentioned.
I mean he is definitly better than 75 MO stat (march first season) right?
EDIT:
To add to that, it feels kinda "meh", now that Fuglsang is declined 3 stats in MO after 3 months. Now its defintely not possible for me to get better result than Fuglsangs best TdF result, at 8th place xD |

I guess that basically was incredibly bad luck with the PCM engine - sadly we can't control riders declines besides working with their potential, as other options (like age of decline) are disabled by the developers (for whatever reason)...and yes, Fuglsang is talented - but no Potential 7 guy (for me at least)

Hmm, bad luck y ? So you say if i create another career with Fuglsang, i might be lucky he doesnt decrease that fast, or?
And yes i agree.. He aint a potential 7 guy.. As said, i just find it so sad that already after 3 months he is down at 75 MO, and therefor not usable at all for top classifications. |

Test it, I guess in more than 90% of the cases he won't be down to 75 at that point. Getting 2 downgrades until march is really unlucky.

I was ckecking your stats a little, and i think David Arroyo you nerf a lot.
Currently you have him in the DB with: 71 in Mountain and 70 in Hills, i think he deserves 73/74 in Mountain and 72/73 in Hills |

That's odd, but perhaps I've been using an older DB or so ... nevertheless, I'm waiting for the project to finish until I actually start a serious career. Would be nice with those upgrades from Timo though.
He used to be classified as a TT specialist in earlier years, but I don't believe he ever had the results to back that up. |

Aizak Done and have increased Arroyo to 73 and 72 as I agree with those having looked at some of his results
Gentleman Since the last post have also increased Roosen a bit more as well and these new stats will be in the next DB which should be sometime soon. He looks like like a strongman/leadout type and so will gauge his stats like so and will certainly observe him more in the future.

Somehow I don't think that stats really matter anymore.

Should I say, that Schachmann has 85 TT, 85 PRL 84 FL and 84 RES as well as 81 HI?

The fun fact with PCM games is, now I don't know whether your issue is that a rider with such stats is not winning a hilly TT, or that your issue is that a rider with such stats exists.

I think it's a mixture.

This is a fantastic spot and just the kind of info we need to be reminded of and I will increase him right away and he will certainly looking at his results be more that your suggestions as well. Will match him with some of his teammates who he finished with in a number of those races. He's only 19 but does deserve some pretty good climbing stats

Froome is far too underestimated. He is much better than the others! |
