Hi Lads
I play PCM for many years now. In PCM 16, i was able to adjust the riders fitness. Now, in pcm 17 it doesn't work anymore. I use the Pcm Fast Editor. Is it because i need to adjust other tables than in PCM 16?! If so, could somebody tell me which tables?!
Many thanks Guys.

Hello Rammandos,
I guess you know how to find your save game and how to use an editor.
So:
- Prior you have to know the cyclist ID of riders you want edit.
- you need to open the table: DYN_cyclist_fitness
- find the good line with the name or cyclist ID in the column: IDcyclist
If you want Max Fitness, Max Freshness, Max Rythm and 0 fatigue.
You need to put the values like this:
value_i_FIT = -5536
value_i_rythm = -5536
value_i_freshness = -5536
value_i_fat_phy = 0
Save your .cdb and reload your save game, now your rider will have 100 Fitness, 100 Freshness and 0 fatigue.
Enjoy my friend. |

Thanks for the reply Mate. Of course i know i need the ID etc etc. But for example a rider ingame has 73 procent form; when i edit everything you said, when i reload my game, it is still 73 procent. Very strange. Never had this before. I don't understand it |

I use Lachi's Editor, maybe there is a compatibility issue with Fast Editor...
Because it seems your modifications are not taken in count.
Did you try to make another edit, like change a value for MO or BAR to see if it's workin ? |

Adjusting the stats did work. When i go to my team roster, and i sort the guys on form, the rider i adjusted is on top, with 73 form and the others are below him
With 96 form, the tirth rider 93 form. So is there something wrong with the display of the form? |

Don't know for sure about pcm17 ,but changing FIT & freshness only works for that day,it gets recalculated a new every day with training-planning in dyn_cyclist_fitness_data.
In pcm17 rhythm=-5536 is obsolete,no such thing as a separate race rhythm anymore,it's an entirely different value now.

The same happens to me. I edited with Fast Editor and Lauchis, and nothing ... all the same, I leave the cyclists in the form of 80, 83, etc ... does not affect the change.
Has anyone managed to put the form to 100? |

I have a cyclist that already has 77 mountain , but in mountain stages i always stay with no yellow bar before the finish and he loses all the energy. Is this normal? I dont attack , no cursor.. just hold position |

Holding position is not the way you should use to avoid losing energy. Try mastering the use of the dot, you'll see how much a difference it makes.

You can find the answer to the second question with a quick forum search, it's a question that pops up every other week.
Ideally, everyone should be put on dot, but it's very hard to keep an eye on everyone so I generally put most riders on automatic or hold position and 2/3 riders on the dot or on protection.

Ok thanks, just one more question, is it worth to changing the effort (when hold position) during all stages? I start 35, then 45, then 50 etc etc. Is it worth? or can i put 70 for all the "first" (100-150) km? |

Every stage is difference, you should adapt the dot to your tactics and the group's pace.

Have you tried advancing one day?
If that doesn't change anything, you have to edit the following columns also (99 or 100 for best/highest):
peak_value
value_f_prepa
and maybe also value_f_prepalastweek
I believe that value_f_prepa is equal to the rider fitess level (percentage) shown in game. |

Set fatigue to 0, and form and freshness to -5536 + then set his form(both) to 100

AND, if you want "topform" you could set that for 120(I like to set it to 130 to secure 3 weeks+ of topform)
It's the bar before his value

Surely editing the fitness of the riders defeats the purpose of the game, do you then just use Froome and win every stage race for the year? |

First, why do you care how others play and edit their games?
Second, PCM has always been bugged as hell, so making the game more correct with editors is a way of actually enjoying the game instead of throwing it in the trashcan.
In this years edition your team mates training program has been bugged in pro cyclist mode, så editing some riders fitness before entering an important race, is just a way of fixing a bug. |

You are correct. I dont really care, was genuinely interested why people would do it, i dont have PCM17 yet, will wait for all the patches to see how it works, but every game is slightly different and to me working out how the fitness works/doesnt work is part of the game |
