but there's only two from PCM17 and one is cunego
Anyway agree, great to see the story section booming with great writers old and new
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Did I miss something somewhere or am I the only one that can't see embedded YouTube videos on here anymore?

I'm no expert but i believe something changed on the other end to outdate the embeder and we've not updated it/got a new fix.
It's been like this for a while, surprised it's not been mentioned sooner
For now it's old fashion url linking only

I got an interview with an Olympic gold medalist tomorrow. (Mom, I made it.)
USA swimmer Jimmy Feigen. I think it's only right if I ask him what the hell happened in Rio. But, considering he is only here for a swim camp, that's probably not a good idea.

Gosh, I just now realized that the PCM 17 is out. Looks like I wasn't up to date for a while

Geez, the forum is going downhill. Its ashame they don't have anybody with a bachelor degree in programming to fix it
URL linking isn't bad I guess.

I don't believe I've posted in the off-topic-subforum before and have no idea if this is the right thread for this (if not, I'm sorry): HBO is showing a cycling/doping mockumentary called "Tour de Pharmacy" on the 8th of July. It looks... well, even sillier than it sounds, but features a pretty impressive cast, here's the trailer:

I graduated high school today.
Perhaps this isn't the place or time to really reflect on all that, but I did want to give a small tidbit, very small compared to what I could write, about what this website means to that journey.
I joined this site in 2011, the summer after sixth grade, because I had finally found a cycling video game and needed to figure out how to get real names into it. I was remarkably immature as most of you old timers surely know, and I still am. But gradually I grew to become at least a part of the community. Over time, man users have come and gone. Most of the admins on the site have been here a shorter time than I at this point, which is a little weird. Hell, I've been on this site for over half of it's entire lifespan now! In 2011, 2006 seemed like such a long time ago. I guess to a kid who wouldn't even turn 12 until the fall, it's over half your conscience life. But now I've been on this site for more than that amount of time. And it doesn't feel like a long time ago.
I like to think I haven't changed much as time has passed on here. Maybe as a person, I really haven't. But in terms of circumstance, so many thing have changed. As an 11 year old my parents had just got divorced and I was staying alone with my dad, away from my mom and sister, trying to figure out what was going to happen. Now I live in two houses in two different towns, my dad has been married, and so many other changes have happened in my life.
The point is, PCM Daily has been the constant throughout. When everything was so hectic, I always could check PCM Daily, sometimes to a fault. It wasn't just an escape, it was a catharsis of a passion I couldn't share with anyone I knew in real life. I hate to admit I probably needed it.
I'm not leaving or anything, but obviously my post rate has slowed quite a bit. Almost half of my post count came in my first 2 years. Life gets busy as you get more responsibilities I suppose. Still, I see no way I could leave entirely. As I go to university, PCM Daily will once again be one of the few constants in my life, I have no doubt.
Thanks to everyone that's been there along the way. There's been heartbreak, anger, scandal, and flame wars, but it's definitely worth it.

As someone who's been here even a little longer than you, I do remember the "immature bbl". I also remember overlooking the third L in your name and wondering what a "baseball over 312" means. Both things have changed
Congrats on your graduation!

Congrats bbl! I'm actually happy for you. You were always a great member. I remember reading the chocolate bunny story and I think it was great how you handled it on skype afterwards.

Thanks so much guys! I haven't had regular access to a computer for a while now, and I'm actually at college orientation as I write this, but I know I have to get that back before the TDF. It's crucial this site is there to help me cope with another Froome victory.

Finishing high school! Why is youth wasted on the young? (Also, how can anybody love baseball? ) Congrats, (young) man! Go change the world! |

If you want to, I could go to Düsseldorf and drive ahead of Froom in the ITT. That was he will slipstream me(because every cyclist would do that) and because of that he wouldn't make the time limit, which would spare everyone of another Froome win.
