Do you think we can play this Database before the end of the Giro?
Thank you for all the work! |

Matt has said it'll come very soon, so I'd say that it can probably be played before the end of the Giro. I can't be 100% sure though because we never know if something's going wrong in the process.

Request type: Gameplay issues
Game version:1.8.0.0
Expansion Pack version: EP 2016 Update 1
Hi guys,
first of all I would like to thank you for your great work through all these years.
I don't want to get in any trouble so I apollogize in advance if someone is offendet just because english is not my first language.
Now to my "problem":
The native african riders have no different skin colour in game. They look like all the other riders. This also appears to be the case for spanish or columbian riders but I just saw it with Team Dimension Data, who have a lot of african cyclists.
I love that the great sport of cycling took over the globe throughout the last years and that we see more and more riders from all over the place. We should be proud to show this variety in this great mod too. And since the vanilla version has it, and you guys are capeable of giving each team its unique helmet, you should get the colour back into the riders skin.
Thank you for your time and for not feeling offended by any race issue. |

That's something Cyanide messed up, we can't do anything about it unfortunately

How can this be? The riders I was talking about (like Kévin Réza from FDJ) had dark skin yesterday. Only after I installed your DB Update they turned white. |

It might be something Cyanide fixed in a patch without mentioning it in the changelog, it has happened with a few other bugs. As a matter of fact, in the original game, the skins weren't working though. We'll take a look at this for the PCM 17 release.

I just fixed it.
I compared the database I used before to your database. The big difference is made by the collumn: fkIDtga_skin
In your database the coloured riders had value 1 but in the other it was 14 or 15.
After changing some 50-60 riders the colour was back in my game.
Soooo... if you just changed those values you might experience the same result. If not, the database I used (rsm-news.com - expansion pack via steam workshop) added something to my game that all of you should have. |

Yeah. Seems like Cyanide made changes to the IDs for no apparent reason and without a static table where you could know what tga skin ID does what. I guess we'll have to compare that to the official release.

There is a skin table when we create a new Pro Cyclist. |

I just found out that theses values can be changed in the STA_country table too. If they are set back to the values they have in the vanilla officialreleas.db you get a greater variety of skin color throughout the whole cyclist field.
EDIT: This might be of no use to anyone, now that PCM 2017 came out. On the other hand this might be relevant for those Databases too. |

My career keeps crashing after stage 3 of the Tour de France is played, just before going to the jersey wearers. In single race mode it even crashes during the race.
I hope there's another solution than simulating the stage? |

You can probably replace the stage in CM_Stages with another one that works.

I replaced the stage this morning but again the new stage blocks before going to the podium. Can I check somewhere if the podium files are corrupted or the process to start the podium is corrupted and repair this? |

Could you check if the stage crashes in one-off race mode?

Can i make a change somewhere that the computer-teams won't change their sponsors and shirts during the game? I like to start with a small team, and when i reach the World Tour after 3-4 years, i don't recognize any of the World Tour Teams anymore. Thnx! |

Yes, in dyn_sponsor set the sponsors contract to expire in like 2100.
