Vuelta 2012: Purito was taking him time because of his punch in the final 200 metres in rather hilly finishes
Vuelta 2014: When did Froome crashed? Froome tried to attack him in the mountain stages, but Contador won both of them
Tour 2015: It's obvious that others were going to be stronger if he was the only one to have ridden Giro
Tour 2016: Contador crashed in stage 1. How could he be very bad before the crash?
Vuelta 2016: Chaves was not stronger than him, he was smarter. Also, Contador crashed again before mountain stages

Aren't some classic speacialists overpowered? I mean Philippe Gilbert finished 2nd on my carrer in Alto de Hazzalanas and therefore won Ruta del Sol - Vuelta a Andalucia. |

Yes I know, but it's not possible to sort by team, by age, or by stats.
Anyone have screens of each teal with the stats please ? |

There is little we can do about this as Gilbert's RES is one of the highest in game to compensate partly for his low mtn stat compared to other Ardennes type riders (in fact a rider like Gilbert was the prime reason for the RES formula to be installed into the stats anyway) To alter his RES, ACC and flat etc would be to take the character of the rider away..
To be fair a race like ruta del sol is going to have a lot of hill influenced stages anyway so this is not so bad, now if he starts finishing highly in GTs then we would have another Sagan problem to deal with.

A db is also attached, could you possibly want more? No one has time to make a screen of each team.

Thanks guys for DB v1.1, new stats are really good. but i'll give just some ideas for reflection. As always, they're just my opinion and i think your job is amazing!
- Jungels will outclass Formolo too hard in GC with their huge stats differences. Formolo doesn't have a good REC but he started from 72 and i think he improved this year (73?).
- I still think Nibali should have 79(+1)STA and 84(+1)REC. Consider Quintana has +2 MON and ACC on him, that's a lot.
- Pozzovivo 71(-1)TTR and 75(+1)STA.
- Switch Pinot's and Zakarin's ACC.
- After Tour 2016 Bardet should have 81 MON considering he finished ahead Quintana... |

Because of attack on a down hills. Porte was clearly the second strongest mountain rider after Froome in this race. Only punctures and crash on unfortunate times did not make him no. 2. Dumoulin can also beat him overrated Quintana.
Bardet 80 with very good down hill and REC stats.
In addition Pinot 80 and Quintana 82. But that's a whole different talk.

Has anybody with the new DB and Giro update actually completed a GT with Tom Dumoulin. If so did how did he do, so we can gauge if his stats look good or not?
Also did the GT have long TT's and was Team Sunweb AI or player controlled.

I can only talk about Samuel Dumoulin, who finished 4th in the Tour. I didn't even simulate.
Tom on the other hand is pretty OP in TT, not sure why. He just became TT WC, by over 4 minutes to Tony in season 1(Tony had amazing form tho), 3rd was Kiriyenka, 2 minutes behind Tony and then everything was close. In every TT he's gaining around 5 minutes in a TT, but loses all of it in the mountains pretty quickly.(that was before the update, but I guess, you didn't debunk his TT)

Sammy finished 4th in the Tour?
Yes Tom's TT has been downgraded along with other GT riders if not enough then will do so some more

Yes, he won 4 stages from solo breakaways and even dropped over 140 riders out of the time limit. He also got the KoM. I hate how the AI sits up and wants you to pull, eventhough they are in yellow.

I think he's right too. Contador is way too strong. Also, Porte has consistently been better than Contador since the 2016 tour, I think he deserves higher stats. |
