Arberg your LOVE to Froome is so obvious )) But while you are loving Froome you do not need to hate Contador. Take it easy, because you will end disappointed at the end of the Tour. From now on - you will be a witness of how Froome`s form will be slowly but surely declining. It would be better to prepare for it in an advance hence it will be easier to swallow it
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

The only times Contador go on long range attacks is when he is desperate to the point he KNOWS he can't beat the opposition traditionally, he also has some very defensive GT's (Giro 2008 as prime example) to his name so its not like he is some messiah when it comes to that.
Fortunately, or unfortunately thats just the situation he has found himself in lately in many races. In the past, he would attack on one or two occasions, out time trial the opposition and seal the deal rather easily just by following wheels. He was stronger psychically so that was obviously the go to strategy, but he would also never crash and really be in deficits whereas now he pretty much always find himself having to make up time. |

I feel the same way about the Tour this year on this route; If it hadn't been for Valverde and me being excited for his prospects, I prolly wouldn't even bother. |

Isn't if funny how times are changing? A few years ago at Vuelta 2014 I got into a major discussion, defending Valv and why Valv was allowed to wear #1 instead of Quintana who was de-facto captain, and now he's so much class that ppl basically have to back him as a favourite for the Tour. Also still appreciate that Tour 2014 where the Valv haters all said he was done and never get to podium a TdF. One year later ,he proved everybody wrong
I'd love to see Valv on the podium again or even win le Tour. As much as I admire him as a rider, he's still missing this super big win imo, that only le Tour, il Giro, Roubaix or World Championships are (Liege is imo not in that category altough winning it 4 times is damn impressive).
