BIANCHI CAMPAGNOLO

i66.tinypic.com/24ownyb.png

Game: PCM2016 v1.8.0.0
Database PCM.daily 2017 DB
Difficulty: Extreme (or Impossible in next years)

Hello! This is my second story ever, but the first in this forum.
I'll try to be concise and start immediately in action! I'd like to keep it up, if anyone will follow it! Grin
I'm italian and i fail sometimes with english, i hope you will forgive me and i'll do my best!

The main target of this career is to dominate the UCI World Tour in few years having fun in all type of races with the youngest team actually existing.
For the first year our only diamond tip is Greg Van Avermaet, followed by Michal Kwiatkowski.
For stage races we'll have A.Yates, in Time Trials R.Dennis and for sprints N.Bonifazio. We also have a lieutenant for each role (O.Naesen, D.Ulissi, S.Yates, P.Roglic and K.Sbaragli). Besides, the team is mostly italian to fit the sponsor and a special mention is for M.Moser and A.Bettiol which most likely will have some chances to shine!

If anyone will follow me and wants to take part in this career giving any tips (for example for schedules, breakaways, startlists, transfers, trainings, objectives, etc...) i'll appreciate and keep them in mind.

I'll update as soon as possible when i see any interest, giving results for minor races results where we do not take part, summary of minor races when we partecipate and a deep view of most interesting stages and tours. First of all, I'll let you see Roster, Schedule and Objectives (last two can be changed, if anyone wants to give a tip, I'll appreciate it). Have fun!

Very strong team that I can see dominating in all types of races and terrain. Good luck with the story and nice to have an Italian WT team again Wink

Shame there is no Italian team leader to be the main focal point of the squad, but given the talents further down the list, it could be something which develops nicely and comes to the fore.

EPISODE #1

Australian Championships ITT
40.9kms Flat Time Trial. Rohan Dennis is the favourite and doesn't betray expectations winning 12" ahead of R.Porte and 13" to H.Haussler.

New Zealand Championships ITT
Jack Bauer wins.

Australian Championships
Rohan Dennis can be an outsider today, we'll se an hilly circuit of 160.2kms with 11 laps. Last 5kms are downhill except for last meters, but before that there's an uphill of 3kms.
In the first kilometres 5 men breaks away and takes a maximum lead of 5'45".
It's 12kms to go and the leaders still has 38" gap, Orica-Scott is pushing the peloton and is going to reach them.
Just when last uphill starts R.Dennis tries a shy attack but the pace is too high!
Near the brow Rohan tries again! Orica reduced the pace and he takes advantage of that! Orica doesn't seem have strenght to close the gap which is already 17".
There it comes the counter-attack! Just when the final downhill starts, Matthews tries to close the gap!
3kms left, the peloton catches Matthews and Dennis has still 13" lead.
Here's the final sprint, Dennis is giving it all!

EPISODE #5 - Kwiatkowski's complaint

After the Santos Tour Down Under, Kwiatkowski seems to be unhappy about the treatment he received in last stage, and DS tried to talk with him face to face.

DS: So Michal, will you tell me where's the problem?
MK: There's nothing i have to argue, I'm just not happy. I was in decent form and i could have done better, but something went wrong.
DS: Okay so that's the point. I don't really understand how you can be unhappy, team did well in these days, we got two wins and you were really important for us!
MK: Well i am kinda happy for them but i can't for me!
DS: You definitely can't act like that, i told you were important... and that's what should make you feel well!
MK: Are you serious? I didn't have a single chance!
DS: You know we're in January, Rohan Dennis is in great form, he loves this race and he won almost two stages with amazing actions, and once he was so close, that's what happened. He deserved that, but at the end he was unlucky.
MK: I could have won this tour. In last stage i was 12th even if i worked all time for Rohan, but it's okay i guess, I'm happy for him but disappointed for me, and the team should be too, because we didn't win but we could have!
DS: You were our leader, but road can change the plans, you know.
MK: I wasn't...otherwise you didn't leave me alone when i fell. You planned Rohan as leader since the tour started.
DS: You can't talk like this, i do the best for the team, taking the best from the riders, I thought Rohan could have won the overall standings and he was close. Things have gone differently but he still won a stage. In the last stage Sven Erik was with you even if you were out of Top10, Diego was in the breakway for the win and we needed train for Niccolò if group reached them.
MK: I understand but what to do, i'm disappointed.
DS: You shouldn't, since you were riding really well, you will be protagonist, but Rohan deserved his leadership, and it was the best thing for the team.
MK: That's okay, i'm sad he didn't win though, he was strong. I'm optimistic for next months, let's go.
DS: Well said Michal!
