Didn't see the race yesterday due to the football, but i am happy that Hamilton won and happy to see Ferrari challenging for honour's once again. |

F1 is only interesting now when it's wet. No overtakes so far.

4 abandons in two laps. Crash between Stroll and Sainz, brake failure for Verstappen.
Vettel in the lead

Bottas overtook both Ferrari's at the start and wins his first GP.
Meanwhile Alonso's McLaren didn't make it through the warm up lap...
The difference between Mercedes+Ferrari and the rest of the field is staggering. |

And typical crybaby Vettel in the final laps

No idea how Red Bull have gone so far backwards. It really feels like they've lost ground, and i don't think it's all in the engine given the main Renault team has moved forwards in the mid-field.
And whilst Ferrari and Mercedes are closer together, we're not yet seeing actual racing action. Tactical yes, but overtaking seems less than last year which is not good.
The fact i fell alseep and no positions changed, not a good sign.

I wont deny he is often very quick to complain about blue flags, but did you see what Massa did to him? Massa blocked him on the high speed left hand turn that goes into the right hander making him lose nearly 1sec. I dont think he would've gotten ahead of Bottas anyway, however.

Sochii has been a bottom 3 circuit since it was added. Its terrible. Other tracks will be better.

Apart from in the wet at China, it's not been a good year for battling action. It certainly won't get better in Spain or Monaco. Hopefully Canada can show off something

Having "ultra-soft" tyres that last more than half a race distance doesn't help either. With the "hard" tyres, they might race for half a season, and the tyres will be useful. It's ridiculous

Another Russia specific problem, even on the old Pirelli's it was Russia where the longest stints were and guys had done 1-stops before.
Basically, get rid of this sh*t track! If we're going to a dodgy regime can we go back to Istanbul?

I saw that Istanbul was going to come back. Nothing official yet, just some meetings with the new F1 boss

- I don't know why i'm even surprised when Alonso breaks his engine. He was going to score a point today
- Perez was awful today in the team orders. He denied Ocon a chance to take his maiden podium, but he decided to not let him pass. And later, he didn't even try to impede Vettel to overtake him
- Stroll finally scores some points. He did a really great race, even though he has to improve a lot if he wants to stop being considered a "pay driver"

It's a shame Verstappen's car decided to stop prematurely.. Could've been a really entertaining race between red bull, ferrari and force inda (and bottas, being third after verstappen)
