This, especially for a time trialist Fantastic season for Phinney, the three golds is impressive and did well in other stage races as well, definitely deserves the rainbow TT bands next year.
He only lost one TT this season when he was 2nd in the opening prologue at the tour, he was mega consistent all year round. |

As you can see I'd say only 5 riders are really certain to be staying with us next year from the indispensable in Phinney and Houleto the exciting with Brown and Cataford and managers favourite Matte
After that there's a few riders that have a slight chance of leaving the team these are Keough, Naud, Van Zyl and Young with Keough i'd like to see him here but theres potential i could be willing to let him go if another Canadian is available that could do the same job, Naud is very close to maxing with his XP and I may be willing to let a PCT/CT team have him on loan providing they can max him as he will be more useful at that level. Van Zyl I don't really want to sell but if an African team came in for him he may be interested in moving to a home team. Young although a top rider would be a better leader in PCT/CT so if the right move was there for him i'd probably let him have his chance.
On the possibles front Boily is a rider I love but he's far off PT leadership that I could train Houle or Boivin to so if there's a good opportunity for him to lead a team I'd love to see him doing well somewhere for me he's just picking up anonymous 10th and 15th i'd love to see him winning races like last year. Boivon is the same in that if I could get money in for training of Houle/Phinney i'd probably let him leave though not as likely as Boily because with some millions thrown at him he'd be PT podium worthy. Duchesne same as above love him but would like to see him win races though if he stays I think he'll do a good attacking job in this division. Hughes is just incase anyone wants a Canadian climber he'd free up room for me to develop another Canadian.
Lots of Yes basically anyone non Canadian/USA apart from Anderson who has rode with me forever now will be minimum wage but I'd love him to finally ride at CT level because he'd do a really good domestique hilly sprinter job there hopefully someone will find room for him so I can get the next generation of Canadians through.
The rest I'm more then happy to sell I want to really start to focus on my region again the last two years i've planned to get myself into the PT and then survive the first season now with have a real base I want to start to develop Canada again as I realise i've kind of let that slip the last 2 years.
Ohh and I want Summerhill because of course I do or Eastman or Talansky or Holloway ohh I do love transfer season |

Summerhill and Phinney would make a great PT scoring combo. He'll probably be a FA or at a much lowered price because of Azteca now being in the CT. Very possible
Also, some interesting riders that won't be around next year as well

I'm looking to strenghten my squal following my dismal first season and some riders here could be useful. Come transfer season I may bid for some, but some reccomendations won't hurt

If only I weren't so far above my wage cap already, the sound of Pichon to return would be sweet! David Boily aswell.

After some great talks last season, leading into loaning our Polanc I still very much enjoy the looks of your team. Hope you keep the Canadian and American Base, but also look forward to some further talks with you in the next transfer season.

There's definitely interest here in helping Boivin relocate from one Commonwealth country to another - but fear he may prove too expensive for our taste |

Do y'all have your team HQ in Canada? Are y'all teams run by Canadians? If the answer is no, then sod off

If he goes free agency I can't see us getting him we can't have two millionaires running around

I don't like the plan, i really don't. In 2014, he was excellent as final leadout man for a punchy sprinter riding in yellow and he would be ideal to repeat that role next season as well!
And from what I've heard the exact same team he was loaned to in 2014 might be interested to sign him on a permanent deal this time
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!
