Enjoyable report, enjoyable race and a nail-biter in the final kms. And even though he was the biggest favourite, it was still fantastic for me to see the final few pics to see that Bewley is going to win. To see one of my riders becoming a world champion, that is surely the biggest win during my time in MG. Can't wait to see the price for this jersey during renewals.
And thanks, everyone! And thanks again for really nice reporting from all the events in these World Champs, real high quality and fantastic pace.

Elite race turned into a war of attrition/survival rather than the attack fest that most observers would have been hoping for, but hard to argue with the quality of the podium, and of course winner Bewley is in reality head and shoulders above his competition; congrats to Roman on finally securing the rainbow jumper. Would have been interesting to see how the race would have evolved with less crashes, but that's racing.
Very high quality report, as has been the case across the World Champs week, big thanks to the reporters.

Kinda funny that Sibilla rides his best race of the season now that there are no points to score

Didn't have internet access the last couple of days, so I can only offer a recap now.
Men's ITT was thrilling in the end, with SotD nearly capping off his brilliant season, but he's probably content with what he got there. Congrats to RBC!
U23 RR didn't go quite as well as I hoped, Top 15 for Herklotz is okay but I would've liked if he at least tried. Seems like both RRs were rather uneventful before the final though, the game surely could've made them more exciting.
And last but not least, Bewley is Bewley is Bewley is Bewley. Neither surprising nor undeserved, congrats Roman. Enjoy paying him 1.5 million. (small thought, if you fuck up, we'll get the most ridiculous transfer season ever)
Too bad that Blythe just missed the medal move and couldn't use G to his advantage anymore either. 5th in a World Championship is great though, looking at the misfortune of some other favorites.
A big thank you to all reporters of course, you all gave these the quality the races deserved.
Now give me slightly hilly WCs with a flat run-in for the next 8 seasons.

Very much like anticipated this RR. Congrats with the WC Roman. It was given before the race, but congrats nonetheless...
In hindsight (and for some of us, already before the race) we should have picked a different route to give a larger number of riders a fighting chance. To see riders like Boasson Hagen, Spilak and Trofimov not even in the top 80 makes that obvious. But the people wanted a cobbled race, and got what they wanted, so I guess I can't keep shaking my head.
Surprising to see van Avermaet failing with such a strong team around him, though. Happy with two medals from the TT, and 6th from Tom David here.

Solid RR from Altur. Couldn't ask for much more. He stayed out trouble and tried to stay with the right moves. He just didn't have legs.
Hopefully competing in the PCT next year will give him the best shot to get his first career win.
Thanks for report!

Exactly my thoughts.
And same could be said about our very own Niels Albert, who got his first top10 of the year at Worlds, funny...
Anyway, congrats Roman! No surprise really, it was laways going to be him, bar any crashes, so it happened. Maybe he should have finally a wage that fits his stats and results?
Great report!

2.500.000 €
Sorry, I'm already craving for the transfer season
Congrats Roman. Bewley is the most predictable WC of the history of the MG but in the end I think we all agree he was bound to take on the rainbow at some point. However I think SotD is right on the subject of the route selection.
Anyway congrats everyone, and thank you amazing reporters. Let's jump into NCs shall we?

Thank you for stunning reports! Good performance of Polanc, hoping for the next years to see him shine. Also Drucker showing good riding to almost close the season.

Absolutely amazing reports throughout these worlds, thanks jandal and the hoyle!
Bewley had won before the startline, nevertheless congrats Roman, definitely the most deserving rider to have as WC.

Tbh I almost did before this season, this off-season is going to be a great fun for sure.
Well, he didn't even win the individual rankings this season. Definitely deserves a lower wage than a certain rider from Luxembourg then. Tbh the main problem here is that Bewley's rivals are either getting older and older (Boonen, Cancellara, Burghardt) or they are too young and still need some years of training. Even my idea of improving GVA didn't stop him this year. My ideas of PT changes for the and introducing of rider form should do a bigger trick, I guess.
