Hi,
My career keeps crashing after stage 3 of the 4 Jours de Dunkerque since yesterday. After the podium my game crashed before going to the results page? Everytime I restart the game and try to open my career, the game crashes immediately.
What can I do to fix this without losing my career. I also dont like to play any races again, as I just had a fantastic result with Kittel in the Giro prologue.
2 days ago I did a big Windows 10 Update. Is it possible the crash is caused by that? Although I played some stages without problems yesterday.
Simulate that stage
I would ask all the people from the Balkan to contact me so that we can create our community.

I think you misunderstood my problem. I cant reopen my career, so I cant simulate any stage. The Dunkerque stage AFTER which the crash happened, was played normally. |

Try loading a weeklysave, the save itself might have gotten corrupted.

I can't reproduce this, try lowering your graphics and play it again.

I can't reproduce this, try lowering your graphics and play it again.
I just simulated the race until Chavas won. Bit of cheat, but it worked. :-) |

I want to start a Bora career with the 2016 database, but I want Bayern Rundfahrt to be in there.
How do I do this?
EDIT: NVM, I found it. It's basically one click in the db editor. My bad...

You also need to check the relevant rows in STA_stage, not just STA_race.

Do regions not matter anymore? I noticed many riders are from the first region of their country. 201, 301, 401... |

Unfortunately researching regions for some of the very young riders we add to the db is virtually impossible, so a lot of those get added with their first region. For Italy they're basically all incorrect, but about half of the French, Germans, Danes and Portuguese and most of the Swiss and Spaniards are correct. We plan to correct what we can in newer versions of the database like we did last year.

Since it's so quiet i wouldn't expect it in 2-3 weeks and considering the new game is out in about 5 i would just wait for that. I know their work is not easy but considering other developers managed to release (imo a poorer version) months ago i got to say i'm a little disappointing. Especially since this got to be the biggest community out there. But anyway i appreciate the work they put in each year but changes should really be done with the DB team soon.

I know why you'd think we're basically slacking off, but we really aren't. It's really frustrating for me, as leader of the team, to have basically reached May and to know that the community is waiting on us to play the game, but please consider that we did as much as we could to add people to the db team to help out, and only a couple even applied. No one in the db team is at fault for this delay in releasing the db.
Less and less people have time to contribute, since real life is always priority #1 for all of us. We're at a point where we've almost completed the db, but still lack graphics content that we can't do without. I know it sounds like a joke, but please have patience because it will be worth it. There are a couple decent dbs you can play with in the meantime anyways, it's not like they're trash.

I really did not mean to come off as ungrateful by the previous comment. I know there is been done work, but i was looking in February (in a time it should have been in the late stages of release) to check the progress and everything seemed to be on hold due to your team not having time to do the graphics. And seems like it's the same now almost three months later. And yes there is some optional ones out but i'm to picky about this stuff (particularly stats) and your db is the only one i see playable at least for a career.
But at least i got better hopes this will speed up the release for a Exp for when the new game comes out.

As long as we don't need to redo all graphics due to new formats etc I'm quite sure progress will be a bit better for the next Expansion Pack 2017 (though that's of course too early to say definitively under these circumstances)

Just to reply to your first part, we've been working on the db since way before February. I think we started organising everything in December knowing how hard it would be already, and in the months leading up to February we had already done a good chunk of everything that was needed. Last year the db was released at the end of March and it would have probably been close to that again if graphics weren't so hard to find

As much as I like to play with some CT Teams In my opinion you would please many users by uploading the DB with the WT and PCT Teams and adding the CT Teams with the first or second update. The longer you wait with the release of the DB the more value loses it for the comunity because in a few weeks many will already play PCM 17.
With all gratitude for DB-Team I hope you can overcome your reluctance. |

pcm16+ Daily database will be 3000% better experience than pcm17 for loooong time, at very least until winter, when all the patches and databases for new one are out, so i dont think there is need to rush things, when things are not 100% ready. It was also said many times, that leaving out CT is nonsense for any partial release, it does not work this way.

Question: I've created a team, with the Jersey of Armée de l'Air, and on the first race of the season la Marseillaise I get a crash when loading the team textures (4/20), which I think it's of my team since I'm the fourth team in the spread sheet and the race runs fine going with other teams. It is something wrong with the jersey Or did I mess something? and it's possible to fix with an editor or anything? Thanks in advance, you guys did and do a great job always |

Exactly. It does not have a sense to play PCM 17 even its the new game. But since it will be incomplete until October - December much better option is to play PCM 16 with PCM daily DB and really enjoy the game
I dont care about PCM 17 in its genuine version.
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
