Haha Innsbruck would be the right place for Mr. Moar-Hills.
Lucky you Shonak for having a race come right through your town.
Kinda strange feel tho as around here there are school holidays and you see cars with cargo boxes and ski racks on the roof leaving for skiing vacation in the alps while on the other hand a bike race happens exactly there.
But enough off-topic. Very interesting route. Difficult from the looks of it.
Oh and Tro Bro Leon deserves a higher UCI ranking!!
Its a great course, but no teams apart from the French ones seem to care, so I don't know about that one. Strade Bianche deserved the upgrade because many of the best riders in the world cared enough for the race to actually try hard to win (despite being early March), Tro Bro Leon on the other hand seems to be a French NC on dirt roads. There is even better competition in the brand new Dwars Dor Het Hegeland.
I think with a higher ranking more teams would commit to the race. It's placement on the calendar would play a part in the type of teams competing, the cobbled classics have just finished and we are at the beginning of the Ardennes races with Tro Bro Leon usually raced on the same day as Amstel, the only reason this years race being on different days was due to the Easter long weekend. Maybe a date later in the season could work with this amazingly entertaining race.

I'm wondering if PCM will take offroad parts into account anytime soon. Strade Bianchi became WT, a true classic like Gent-Wevelgam added 3 dirt roads as well, and then there's the smaller races like Tro Bro Leon, Dwars Door Het Hageland and Schaal Sels depending on offroad sections. Doesn't have to be a seperate stat, but maybe a combinations of flat, downhill and cobble can be used to see how fast a rider goes.
Totally agree with this, I was thinking the same

Im almost certain that, barring incidents, Landa will be the much superior climber. He has so much more than Thomas at absolute peak shape. Here's the hope he finds that 2015 form which could have won him that Giro. |

I find it sad about these guys almost being on my age, but I don't know what I'm going to do in my life, meanwhile I am watching these guys

Don't worry, 99% of these cyclists retire at 30 something and run bike shops for the rest of their life
Nothing too envious
Plus all that cycling will probably give them all asthma
The only envious thing I can see is access to some good pharma quality PEDs, not easy to get to

Both are too lightweight to ever TT very well, which opens the door to Kämna.

Thats some long distance bet we would have to get going there. BBL can have Adrien Costa and cio can have Kamna. |

Yes sounds good. Best placed in 2021 or first of them to win TDF? I'd prefer the latter
In it with Gaudu ofc
