You can double tap the share video which records 15 minutes of game-play and you can transfer the MP4 to a USB drive..
Hold in share button to take a screenshot, so nice.

Doesn't Xbone also auto-record game-play which you can then save, edit and share without a capture card. Yes it does, nice to see PS4 catching up.
Or was that tied in with the HDCP issues which only got cleared up in the last week or two? (this part i don't actually know)
And i love my capture device. Includes one-button streaming to Twitch, high quality recording with one-button, and includes free editing software. Plus i got a bundle with a switcher, secondary editing software and extra HDMI cables. £100 all in and i will not need to upgrade or get new stuff for roughly 50years

Just picked up MLB 14 The Show! One issue. My 1 month PS Plus thing expired a couple of weeks ago. I only used it like the last day before it expired.
Anyway so i can't play it online. have to take care of that soon.

Well in the recent light of the E3:
Is it just me or is Sony just making again mistakes on the PS Vita almost like they did on the PSP?
E3 there weren't really a lot of stuff, also not really mentioned on stage but just PS TV.
It seems like the PSP was a small console with (poorly) ported games not making games for the PSP but a downsizing a console game to the PSP, the PS Vita is now a streaming and indie machine but for that they put too much power in it and so is too expensive.
So I guess the PS TV will be more of a success because it's simply cheaper and does the same on a TV (basically paying less for less portability).
I guess I will take the Vita off my list.

It's better than selling the Vita as a "Special PS4 Controller" which was their line for the months before the PS4 released. Sony hasn't quite understood the handheld market yet. That said friends of mine had PSP's and once you got the right game (FIFA was always a good one) it was a great device. A cousin has the Vita (had it since it came out actually) and it's an amazing piece of tech! So much capability in it and it functions beautifully (most of the time) and Sony really need to back it as it's own unique system because it could fill a large market gap for a high end portable (DS is certainly not high end).

in case you missed the E3 presentations of Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, Sony and Nintendo, check the spoilers
Microsoft
EA
Ubisoft
Sony
Nintendo
nothing really special imo apart from Nintendo but that's only because I actually have something with Nintendo. also liked that Halo collection (especially that it runs with the original engine) the Cops vs Criminals mode of Battlefield Hardline. Assassin's creed unity. for some unknown reason that exercise game from Ubisoft. Rainbow Six, Mortal Kombat X ( ) |

I have the PSP (the E-1000 street model) and I like it as there are a lot of games for it.
But for PS Vita I don't see a lot of (full price) games I would like to have so it would be useless to buy a Vita for just 3-4 games.
I don't like the indie scene so much and for streaming games I don't know..

Since this is next gen thread and their isn't a thread just for the game, do any of you know if money actually has any use in MLB 14 The Show, Road to the Show mode? Because I can't find any sue for it, and if there is no sue, what is the point of taking one contract over another?

So now when the autumn is here atleast in Sweden and the winters getting closer I "need" a new game for my PS4 to have something to play in the darkness.
So which one? There are many interesting games but I think I will hold it with only buying one. As seen above I most into Sport games. Shooter games and so on I always prefered to play on PC...
PES 17 or FIFA 17 as every other years?
NHL 17? Bought it last year but was very dissapointed with it. It was a step down since PS3. Anyone played it?
NBA 2k17? Boyght the 15 version and was happy with it even if I´m not really a basketball guys, never really seen a game... I liked the myCareer mode, is it good this year?
Anyony who have played some of the games and could give me a little review?
Or any other good games for that matter. |

I have not played NHL 17, but from what I've seen it's finally reached the amount of features that were available on last gen. Having played both NHL 16 and NHL 15, I can tell you that while NHL 16 was still disappointing, it was a great improvement over 15 and from what I've heard the same is true for 17 towards 16.
Haven't played Fifa in a few years now, but I heard PES 17 is really bad. I have NBA 2K16 because it was free on PS Plus, but haven't played it much to be honest. I played a lot of NBA 2K back in 2010-2012, but my interest in the NBA has waned ever since the Knicks acquired Carmelo Anthony.
I don't know any other sports games coming out at this time of year so good luck finding a good one.

FIFA all the way over PES...I very much enjoyed the Association mode on NBA2K if you reduce the games to 29 (so playing one time against each team) and Best of 3 for the playoffs...with 3 minutes per quarter and stretching played minutes onto real time you'll real have an enjoyable (realistic) career that with it's durations have the possibility to be a long lasting one...
f.e. in 2K16 I had the suns that far that in 2019 they were realisticly strong enough to contend for the title - if you choose the right level to play on developing a team slowly can be really a fun thing

Not specifically on the PS4 but played it. It's Battlefield in WW1, does nothing really different. But the WW1 is slightly unique and the maps are really great.
Single Player, it's quite fun. Half Price, i'd say it's worth it.
