Ah, then I can't explain why he collapsed so much in the second part. Would've thought he would've been a better TT-ist than Valv normally.

I think Valv paced himself better, he normally does that compared to Cont, but I'd say Valv normally is a marginally better rouleur at this point.
However its still surprising just how much time he clawed back on Bertie on the flats, it wasn't really close in the end. |
