Help the real refugees, not the opportunists who can afford to pay the money to come to Europe illegally. Some are genuine refugees. But the majority of people paying to come over in rubber boats are not refugees.

I'm just going to have to give up here.

I honestly cannot fathom that you believe just because they have money they're not "real" or "genuine" refugees.

Do you have something to base your opinion on, or you are just guessing from thin air? Because lot of "refugees" are actually being sent back to where they come from, since it was discovered they dont have any legal claim to seek asylum in EU. Wink

They come from North Africa and other areas whicg are not drowned in war confilcts and thus EU is labelling them "safe" countries so they can be returned. Unfortunately this system was not thought through earlier and many of these young males just seeking life in Europe are already here.

Btw. young males are those who should help build and secure their country the most, not just escape the life they dont like and migrate to another country.

Many young males are sent by their families to Europe because they are the ones who can work the hardest and have the best possibilities to make money, that's the reason why a majority of the refugees are young males.

LOL, this is maybe valid for Ukrainians in Czech republic, or czechs in GB, but not in this case. As Ringo says, you would leave your family in warzone and leave to Europe to make money? With Iphone in your pocket, yeah, seems legit...

De Maiziere, CDU-CSU allies want more cops and a burqa ban

German leaders finally realised that neverending tolerance and non-secure influx of immigrants is not the way to go?

Sorry, but Germany is laughable, they will be the downfall of whole Europe, or at least those states that will not leave the heard soon enough. Germany also now threatens some states of EU that dont want to accept quotas...

This is all I see from my house right now. And no, it's not fog. It's dense smoke, courtesy of having at least 8 active fires around the area where I live (a radius of circa 30km). There's a total of 541 active fires in the continental area of Portugal... Our line of coast is round about 900km long, so we technically have just above 0.5 fires per km right now.. It's scary.

And in Madeira, there's this...

static.noticiasaominuto.com/stockimages/1370x587/21104400.jpg

Look at where the fire is. Look at where the town of Funchal is..

Firemen aren't payed in Portugal. They are volunteers, who only help due to wanting to help the people in danger, the country in danger. And despite not beeing payed, they have to face this mayhem we see today in Portugal.. Which is uncontrobable right now. Of all the 541 fires going on right now, only a few are under control. The ones around my area aren't under control. The one in Madeira seemed under control, but a gust of wind changed the direction of the fire and unleashed mayhem.

Firemen don't have the necessary resources to be able to face this sort of thing.. Our government doesn't support them: the only way they can get money to buy fire trucks, and other machinery, is through shows or asking into people houses. Yes, you heard this right: they need to do shows to get money to buy the necessary gear to save this country. And our government never helps thme.. After each Summer, they claim they will, but in the end they do nothing.

And it fuckin pisses me off.

So a couple of nights ago in Milwaukee a riot broke out after a criminal with a lengthy rap sheet armed and using an illegal weapon was killed by a black police officer after resisting arrest and attempting to flee

So you know, naturally they took to the streets, not only burning down their own buildings, car, and vandalizing entire neighborhoods. That would be too standard. instead they are caught on camera (not really caught, it seems they were the ones filming it), screaming "There's a white guy, beat his ass," and are literally going around hunting for white people so they can trash their cars, mug them and beat the crap out of them. Don't believe me, see for yourself.

Can you possibly imagine if white people had done this to black people in this day and age? You'd think it was the fricking KKK. And yet this is allowed because they're being treated unfairly. They can't even get their point straight anymore! They're targeting white people for a black officer's justified actions against a known criminal!

And yet still people defend them for whatever reason. Being oppressed in the past is not a free pass to target other people. Racism is not exclusive to certain races. smh.

Pray for London, Pray for my country Sad
We are the target this time and I shock as I said to people I was talking to this morning that something like this will happen soon, France or somewhere else will get hit, after the attempted attack in Paris last week. When I said that this morning I wasn't expecting it to be today and on my own country.

And one year to the day since the Brussels attacks too Sad

USA bombed Syria. And Ringo thinks Russia can do something about it. Cute Pfft

Trump succumbed to neo-cons hawks, what a shame.

Nothing is happening any time soon really. America strategically bombed a military base of Assad in Syria after the chemical attack by the Syrian army. It's a one-time move, and America won't take further action. Now as Assad's little friend, Russia won't do anything, as Putin likes Trump and they would both benefit from working together, and they both know it all to well. If anything Iran may go crazy, but that's just Iran, nothing to worry about.

But now Trump is unhappy with Assad, secular Syria is dead. No way they let Assad stay. They just opened can of worms here with this, expect it to go to shit. Give it few years till Islamic Republic of Syria is established due to this and totally peaceful White Helmets are running the government :-)))

I'm with fjhoekie, I think this is Trump saying a line has been crossed, don't do it again. But otherwise a status quo.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Let's hope so, but unfortunately Trump is surrounded by neo-hawks that want a war. Hopefully he doesn't rush into it like dubya.

If Trump hears bombing Assad is gonna increase his ratings, he's gonna do it forever

One of Trump's main campaign promises was to tackle terrorism and destroy ISIS. This is his way to get American troops into the Middle East.

That is exactly the dilemma of the west.

Destroying this airbace is what ISIS would have loved to do, now they get it for free. There is no way to fight ISIS and Assad at the same time.

And the more you make obstructions for Assad the longer this hole conflict will last, as it is just not likely Assad will lose the internal conflict in Syria.

It won't be the first time he's flip-flopped/contradicted himself/said whatever everyone wants to hear.
I think it's clear now that you take Trump's promises with a pinch of salt.

More like the ocean's content of salt!

I think that this attack was a big mistake. It's not proven yet, that this was Assad. I mean, why would Assad attack people in THAT fashion, one day before a congress?
That would be way too stupid. This feels like a false flag attack from the so-called "rebels" to me. I mean, why did they panically order 140 gas masks on the 28th of March? Why do people say, that the first thing they noticed down there was the smell, when Sarin is a odorless gas? Why are there pictures of "poisoned" people getting treated, whilst their helpers have NO GLOVES on? If it was Sarin, that would be suicide.

I mean, it took them just a few days, to find out that it was Assad, without showing proof. The only thing they showed was children, who got attacked....

Sounds like a throwback to 2003 to me.

And that we germans take the "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights" as our main source....which is basically just one man, Osama Suleiman, who lived in Syria, but who lives now in London and has not stepped foot into Syria for over 15 years...

WTF?

Indicated terror attack in Stockholm, Sweden.

Atleast 3 dead and 8 injured after a hijacked truck drives in and over a crowd of people and ending it with driving straight in to a store.
