The demolition derby which only purpose is to hurt people ahead of Paris - Roubaix shouldn't be considered a race, but yes, impressive team. Sheldemerckx does it again, now he will only have to win 5 more Crashprijses to equal one victory in Het Volk.
Clearly the best team in the world ahead of Movistar and Sky. |

What amazing times these are for Quick-Step. Impressive all over the squad
You'd think sponsors for 2018 would be coming left right and centre right?
Remember when the team that would get win after win folded?
Oh yeah that HTC something team yeah? They were quite good. |

First LottoNL WT win of 2017, as Roglic takes the stage after a late attack. Seems quite deserved to me for the team after attacking many times this stage (though that was mainly Bennett). With the TT Roglic could even be a contender for the overall win (though Arrate is probably a tad too hard)
Contador crashed twice but no time loss (I think)
Also good for my Daily Fantasy Team

If Contador doesn't crash out of TdF in the first week, at this rate, I would be surprised. |

What happened? WTf is he doing? He crashes almost in every race
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Contador only crashed once today. Then he had to change his bike in the middle of the last climb with his team-mate Bernard, and after Barguil crashed in the last corner, Contador (who did not crash there) had a puncture with 400 metres to go

Ah it seemed like he had also crashed in the final corner again, also considering the way he finished.
Two material failures in the same races is also quite weird, especially considering it was on two different bikes. Nothing Contador could do anything about I suppose though.

Rumours are he probably faked that puncture in order not to lose time, either way, its risky business just to stroll in like he did - and why would he change a bike in the last 400 metres anyways????
Its very weird. |

There is a video which shows Contador changing his front wheel in the final straight with the Shimano car. But even he "faked" the puncture, he would not have lost time as there was a crash which held him

Are you kidding me? How about celebrating that fucking amazing win by Roglic by attacking in style all day long instead of whining about a "fake puncture" that wouldn't even make sense.
Rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooglaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Why the fuck Bertie is riding all the stage races anyway? If you rode Catalunya you shouldn't ride Pais Vasco and vice versa if you wanna be fresh for Tour.
I like Pais Vasco as the race but this year the route is absolutely shit. Catalunya level of shithousery really. |

This is exactly what i was thinking. Why he is racing so many stage races ? When you look at froome's racing schedule. On the other hand contador is experienced enough he should have known what he is doing.

Contador is ALWAYS riding TA/PN, Cata and Pais Vasco. He has a big break now.
But yes, I've stated multiple times that the route is very underwhelming. Pretty easy to see beforehand. |

Thing is racing Abu Dhabi is much easier psychically than training with that route. Its basically a recovery ride + MTF |

Contador will only ride Dauphine until Le Tour, so will start Tour with 39 days of racing, a normal number of race days coming to Le Tour. It's basically the same calendar as in 2014 and 2016, with the 4-days adittion of Abu Dhabi

Exactly, there is nothing new under the sun here for Contador. |
