Very weird stage....Von Hoff was there but didn't even sprint.
Gunman stayed right on JTL's wheel and holds his spot on the GC. Will be a huge finale to the race and season for us I'm sure!

Oh damn Grega, screwed up legs un the completely wrong moment...he was second to climb up the hill and then doesn't make the grup, that is some trash racing. This stage majorly worked against our favors, now we have to fight for that 5th overall with Bonus seconds to have a shot on beating at least Kinney. If we hold it like this MOL won't win too much on us I hope.

Gunman just not strong enough. We can still get inside the top 10 though! Keep fighting boys!!!

It's good, but it's not quite Title winning

Hugentobler looked extremely strong on that stage again, as he has done throughout the season.
He probably should have solo'd to the stage win there but the jump up the GC is the more important thing.

Another glass half full, half empty story emerging for WCC here. R-G is performing well, but having been ranked 3rd and 2nd in the pre-stage preview for both of the 'key' stages thus far, 5th on GC can only be considered a 'par' performance. Still pleasing that he has not at least flopped, so no real complaints in his case. Alternatively I was a wee bit surprised to see Karagobek also listed in the pre-stage press as a top 10 favourite, but then he has significantly underperformed in that context, lying somewhere around 30th on GC having not shown face all race. The likes of Jones and Backaert get pass marks thus far for managing to deliver top 10's on the finishes contended by larger groups.
Anything is still possible in this race, but significant change on GC would now be a bit of a surprise.
Thanks for all the timely reports coming in!

Glad we made the front group so we didnt lose too much time, but with the two flat stages left before the last GC deciding stage means that Geschke should be out of reach...

Yep pretty much, Clarkey and Diggle/Nzeke/even Davison could've been the top 10 clincher for us but as usual my terrible scheduling & planning comes back to haunt me
Seems like Sauber doing OK to set up a nailbiting finale for the top 10 spot in Zurich

What a great Tour this is for us. Geschke with a stage, the points and the GC Lead. I hope that he can hold on to all of this. That could give us a nice boost of points. I think that Simon is the first to deserve a new contract after all the work he has done for our team. Let's hope that we can keep him.

Manarelli seems to have had a better season in CT than I remember previously when he was riding for The Rider's outfit. Geschke does his thing again in these hill/sprint type stage races. He has a great MG history in the lower (particualrly CT) divisions.

I think my other scoring here should keep our gap to them pretty much intact, as we should get some from teams, youth and kom to close the gc point gap and i don't expect to overtake them from this race alone.

Our polka-dot dash knows no bounds. Magnusson and Haavardsholm have excelled this season.
