Glad we got something out of the stage. Good sprint from Witmitz to get us a good result. Gunman still 2nd on GC so hopefully he can hold that position!

Yates looks well up for this race, Top10 in a sprint is a good showing. Now take that to the hills and this race has the potential to be very nice. But it's only Stage 2, long way to go yet.

An important race for WCC bring a sponsor goal (stage win), so most of the development riders left on the bench and the more experienced faces relied upon here. First two stages as expected results-wise, so now onto the tougher stages; Puerta Zapata doing a steady job in the prologue - he is really desparate to achieve a PT loan for 2017 season and maximise his potential going forward.
Only thing of real note for WCC thus fa was that it has taken this long into the season to see our first sprint 'train'. Jones isn't really good enough to consistantly qualify for a team lead out, so was amusing to see. He still managed to bugger up though and slip back out of the points positions by the finish. This is the sort of sprint start list where he often picks up 4th, 5th, 6th type results by foillowing the others. Still has opportunities, but team management is more excited by the potential of the tougher stages (although some apprehension they will not be tough enough to ideally suit RG or his back up crew).

Muhlberger made a break earlier in the race than I expected. hopefully he will now have a run at the KOM jersey seeing as he has a decent lead in it after that stage.
Not much to say about the prologue other than that when I get a maxed Chavanne, Yatsevich won't look so OP anymore.
It's a shame to lose 20 odd seconds to Yates in the prologue with our 2 GC guys but hopefully we can at least gain back time on others if not him and get a strong GC result anyway.

Kinney just getting beaten by Taborre, which is 6 less points. nevertheless satisfied by his and Milan's and Weiss' performance. Lejman disappointing but it opens opportunities for a breakaway victory.

hmmm, that's not exactly confidence boosting. Yates didn't really loose time per se, but he wasn't exactly looking in a winning shape either. And if we don't win, then the Title is definitely gone.
Still, enough stages left to really make a mark and take the race...

decent stage, Bole winning time on all the MOL riders and staying in touch with the best, while Tennant for once did beat Yatsevich this season, eventhough completely unnecessary
Top 5 really looks possible now, and maybe even Tennant can score a little...Mezgec and Bole for stage wins now!
also great to see Nommela in the break...is he riding for a contract extension?

What a nice win for JTL, sometimes he never fails to disappoint me when I need something of him
I think the race is still in Geshke's hands though, we still need more time, and another stage win

Gunman staying strong and keeping 2nd on GC. We could end with a high finish here if he keeps up the good work!!

Unfortunately it looks like our guys poor prologue resulted in them having a poor placement in the pack going into that final climb and despite their efforts it was too hard to catch those at the front without using all their energy too early.
Hopefully now they are better placed on GC they will be up and in a good position when the attacks start on the remaining hilly stages and can climb up the GC a little bit further.

Geschke looks pretty solid so far and Losch is going for the KoM. I still hope for some good results.

Why let Manarelli chase when we had Matthews and Jiatz in the group as well. Fourth is still a good result even with the extra work he did but damn this was a perfect opportunity for a stage victory.

hmm, not the greatest AI there. Yates again in the Top10, and getting a few points from his ride. But it's not stellar and not enough to keep the title challenge up. We need something big on the hills, really big.
