I think I'll just watch a stream instead of "supporting" Eurosport.
You should support Eurosport. They are one of the only channels, the only one in the UK, dedicated to showing cycling throughout the year. Why wouldn't you support them?

Because they're not in it for the sport, they're in it for the money. If they can't make a fair offer to other networks, screw them.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

All channels are in it for the money, otherwise they wouldn't exist. It isn't Eurosports job to look after other channels.
I don't know what it's like in Europe, but in the UK Eurosport is included on most basic satellite/cable packages, unlike others. I'm happy for all cycling to be on one channel.

Now that simply isn't true. Sporza is a government channel and therefore can't advertise and stuff. Same goes for NOS and probably BBC as well, but you'll know that better than me. Their job is to get popular sports on tv. Ok, for bbc it's mostly football and snooker afaik, so you have to go to Eurosport.
Sporza is not making profit, they just want to broadcast cycling. This includes woman's cycling by the way, something Eurosport would never do. So while you can like Eurosport as much as you want, don't tell me I should support the greedy fucks.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well as far as I'm concerned, if it wasn't for Eurosport there would be no cycling on tv in the UK so I'm not going to criticise them.

Litterally a channel dedicated to cycling called Bike. Included as standard on pay-tv like Eurosport.
And do you not watch ITV and their really good coverage of various ASO and UK events?
Eurosport is not the only option, and even if they were they can still be critisicsed for doing a bad job.

I've been watching cycling since the Armstrong days. Eurosport was the only option.
Itv has jumped on the sky band wagon and will jump back off as soon as that goes away.
Bike is good if you want to watch an hour of a badly dubbed Italian man riding up a mountain.
Eurosport is the only UK option for watching the whole cycling season.
If you had a choice of one channel, which would you choose?

Right ITV on the Sky band wagon... that famous Sky wagon of 2002. Add to that the quality of their broadcasting is really very good across their whole range of programming.
Bike is an Italian channel expanding it's coverage outwards, but does offer a good range of races this season including a range of Belgian classics and races like Tour de Fjords and Tour of Utah. I've seen a few bits from it and it's been enjoyable and passable in quality.
This variation is great. It creates a competitive marketplace that only benefits the consumer. Certainly against Eurosports endless commercials and coverage that hasn't changed at all in a number of years.
I can also remember when Sky covered a few races back in 2010-2012 and that was also nice

What's the weather forecast? I'm seeing rain after a quick look.

Probably there will be rain. If so a new range of favourites can emerge, and Tim Wellens surges up as the main one for sure.

Yes, Stybar won in 2015. He beats GVA and Valverde in the last km. |

Due to uni I miss this race. Hoping for GVA or an italian winner, likely Felline or maybe Ulissi even, who knows.

Finally some bold prediction that actually makes sense. He jumped into road cycling with style and this type of race should be perfect for him as the former MTB semi-star. I expect him to be deep in top10, if he is not there just to help Nibbles.
I also wonder what strong Quickstep team can do in the race...Vakoč, Štybar, Brambilla, Jungels, so many options. Maybe a few too many, like always with Quickstep classic teams...

I know this is quite hard to predict, just that as usual Sagan look unbelivable strong again this season.
