Yes, they are working on it now
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

We certainly are and even though we can't give dates it should be some time soon and all the latest stat changes are mostly up to date.
If any of you have any strong opinions about riders that need looking at post them here, as we will still have time to look at these suggestions. Bear in mind though that changes to bigger riders are less likely to get looked at, because for these riders its certainly better to wait until we have seen P-N and T-A etc
@Irdalopez Kragh has been updated in a number of different stats

Hi,
There are some young sprinters to check their stats. They seem to have lot of potential. The best sprinters of the last U-23 World Championship:
HALVORSEN Kristoffer, ACKERMANN Pascal, MARECZKO Jakub and BAUHAUS Phil.
For GC, there are some valious young cyclist as Louis VERVAEKE, that last year shows his potential. Rob POWER, that looked like an amazing cyclist before his hard injury and Enric MAS, that also last year had an injury and couldn't show all of his potential, but he has, and already has some very interesting results. They call him the new Contador.

Thanks for these mentions and most we know about, but have made a note to give them a check over before the DB is released

I've always maintained the databases myself but I would like to know which MO stat that would give the most realistic battles in the mountains. Just played 1 season and my rider has 82 in MO. Nibali has 83. Still Nibali won the Giro by almost 10 minutes, which I find so unrealistic (I think Basso won the Giro by over 9 minutes in 2006 but still the gap is usually not that big). Nibali won 7 stages in the giro (which is also kind of unrealistic) number 3 (Aru) was 17 minutes behind. Froome won both the tour and vuelta and like 6-7 stages each grand tour (also not happening IRL)
At the moment the top MO stats in my DB are like this
Froome: 84
Quintana: 84
Contador: 83
Nibali: 83
Aru: 83
Bardet: 82
Pinot: 82
Porte: 82
Chaves: 81
Yates: 81
Valverde: 81
Is this unrealistic because the gaps when I play (hard) gets very huge in grand tours.
What are your recomendations?

All -1 would be a good start in my opinion. I only use 84's when there's an extreme dominance, I tihnk I gave it to Martin TT a few years ago when he won almost every race.
Othen than that, it's easy to make Nibali too strong if you only look at his MO stat. He obviously should have great Hill, Sta, Res, and rec as well, based on his results. You might want to drop his MO -1 again to take this into account. Same goes for Valverde by the way.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Thanks! But what difference will it make to give them all -1? That would just give the same gap, right?
What if I give them all 83 and let them have different res. rec. acc etc?

If I remember correctly, an 82-83 gap is smaller than an 83-84 gap in-game.

I'm not a fan of leveling main stats and switching back up stats to get results. I mostly try to do the opposite, to compensate the main stat if the back up stats make a rider too strong or not strong enough.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

My Opinion:
Froome: 83
Quintana: 83
Contador: 82
Chaves: 82
Valverde: 81
Nibali: 81
Aru: 81
Bardet: 81
Pinot: 81
Porte: 81
Landa: 80
Henao 80
S.Yates: 80
Majka: 80
Dan Martin: 80
Zakarin: 79
Nieve: 79
Thomas: 79
R.Costa: 79
Mollema: 79
I think that Nibali isn't in the same level than Contador and Chaves, Chaves lost Giro 2016, not for MO stat, he lost because his REC stat, Nibali finished the Giro better than Chaves, but in the Mountain Chaves is better.
Aru also is better or at the same level than Nibali, but his problem that he is so irregular, Aru is a great climber, but some day he has a bad day and bye bye GC. |

Okay thanks. Is it realistic when you play the stages? How is the time gap etc?
