2017DB to PCM13 - Conversion question

Hey guys!
Despite I've a save going on PCM15, I like too much PCM13 to stop playing it. So I want to convert the 2017DB of PCMDaily to PCM13. I'm familiar with the issues of having 2017 as the starting point of a DB in PCM13, causing the game to crash. I've tried and it works but the schedules needed a reset to be working properly
Now I've read somewhere that the formats of shirts and stuff have changed. I've played with "rough" conversions in the past and for me it's not an issue. I don't mind playing with shirts not updated, different bikes, etc.
So my question is: is it possible to convert to previous versions even if it is not accurate? Or is this totally impossible?

It is possible to convert a newer db to an older version, easier than the other way around. As for the jerseys you can just bulk downscale them with irfanview. What kind of guidance do you need?

I know it is because I've done it in the past. Just considering my options right now.
I don't need any guidance right now because I haven't started anything as you guys haven't released it yet haha. I might need when I start messing around with irfanview lol.
Would it be ok if I consider to release it for the community? As I don't have the graphical skills to put all things (frames and stuff) correctly it might not be perfect and acceptable for everyone. On the other hand it might be good for the ones who like to play older versions like me. |

I've downloaded the shirt of Movistar just to try out irfanview. When I put it as .tga file it gives me a file of 192kb when the others in the graphical folder have 257. Of course the shirt doesn't appear in game. How can I change this? |

Forget the last post. I had messed up with the naming of files. Now it's working albeit not in the same manner as the others. But I don't care.
I'll explore what I can do and maybe report back in the upcoming days. |

2013 jerseys are not tga, they're png. They just need downscaling from 1200*826 to 910*626.

I was talking about the minimaillots and their appearence in the menu. I haven't seen the shirts yet.
Unless you guys release the DB in the near future (not asking anything), I'll not start this until then. |

Soooo, I've encountered one problem after I did the conversion on EP2016 from PCM15. Somehow it crashes at "generating young riders". I've tried to replace the "local" with the one from PCM15 but still nothing.
I've read somewhere that I need to put some regens names on the new countries? Is this true? How can I do it? |

Don't know if it is your issue but in PCM13 new rider names are stored in regen.xml which is in the XML folder under the installation in program files. |

Thanks! I've already seen the file. But I don't know if that's the solution.
I realized that I missed to add some countries and their respective regions (also on the local file). All is done now. However, I keep receiving the same error (Runtime error at generating new riders when I try to start a new career).

Now, I've another problem that has already happened in the past.
Context:
I added 6 nations to the DB. All seem to be set in the right places but somehow the flags don't appear with the respective riders. This happens in the screen where you have all riders and you can start a customized team. I don't know if this causes the game to crash or not. Also,the flags don't appear with the Dubai Tour and the Abu Dhabi Tour.
I've tried everything and I'm clueless. I'll attach the DB and the local file. The countries that have this problems are the ones starting on 103 to 108.
If anyone could have a look, I'd appreciate it. It's more than welcome.

You have used a different constant in local.cdb for Montenegro, can't see any othe problems.
Sorry I wasn't clear but I rushed my answer, as for files I meant the tga flag files you added

Thanks. I've spoted and changed it.
But in that case why are the others with pink squares? It's strange. I'm debating whether I continue and start playing the DB since the game doesn't crash (I'm still finishing other parts) or I continue to look how can I solve this.
Could it be the case that I can't add any more countries?
As for the flags they're correct, I'm sure. I've downloaded them from google but put it similar to the others. I've checked over and over. |

Send them anyway, the matter might be more technical than you think because they not only need to be tga, but 32 bit tga too
Looking at the db the flags can be the only problem.

Sure, here they go.
What's strange is that, from the moment that I copied the table, others stoped working as well. It was from country 102 to 108. It's very strange because before they were working. For example, United Arab Emirates now have a pink square and before didn't.

Any news on this?
I'm almost done with the conversion. Just finish the logos and it's done. The DB is playable but seeing some pink squares all the time is a bit annoying. Specially not knowing how to solve or what caused it. |
