Disappointed I missed out here - I probably would not have gone with Ewan and probably would have gone for guys like Woods and Henao so certainly I wouldn't have challenged for top spots. Basically this was Porte and Ewan show.

Went without both Porte and Chaves, so just a bad, but fun start. Though, 3-4-5-8-11-12 in the GC saves a bit, but the gap to those of you with Porte in addition to most of the other riders in the top 5, should be huge

Strong Daily league performance as usual with 7 in the top 55. Congrats to fjhoekie on the win and Purepasd and Nathan Couwenberg for the podium.
Bennett went wrong for me (think he was involved in a crash after stage 1? Should've gone for undisputed sprinter Van Poppel) and Woods struggled to ride across on Willunga only to implode and fall short of last years performance. Pleased for Jay McCarthy that he got the time bonus to make the podium this time around.

Slipped out of the overall 200 on last day. 230th is still one of the best results I've ever had, and 14th in the league is pretty decent too.

Good start for me with 55th overall and 6th in the league. My main mistakes was choosing Brambilla and not picking Van Poppel which I highly considered

Congrats everyone who scored points. I'm back in my office tomorrow so I'll update the league table then.
Im contemplating a small amendment to the rules to give people who score highly in the overall competition a bit of a bonus. I'll explain in full tomorrow.

With 3 riders scoring 8 between them and the next best only on 122, top 200 overall and 12th in daily league is a result I'll take gladly No idea why I only took one sprinter, lucky it was Ewan!

League table has been updated following the TDU. Congrats to all points scorers.
As mentioned earlier, I've slightly amended the rules to give bonuses to players who finish in the top 100 of the overall Velogames League. I think players who get into the top 100 deserve a bit of a bonus and it will also encourage people to enter the smaller races where they have more chances of scoring bonus points.
Bonus points will be given as follows (Double bonus points will be scored in the big 4 games):
Overall Winner = 25
Top 5 = 20
Top 10 = 15
Top 50 = 10
Top 100 = 5
As you can see some players have scored bonus points at the TDU. Hopefully it's fairly straightforward. Let me know if you have any questions.
