Karnulin dropped to 15th, that was expected...now the main goal for next week is hold onto that precious spot.
Thanks for the reports and congrats FroomeDog!
Sorry.
No idea how that happened as I wasn`t really following him that stage and didn`t notice.
Also sorry SotD for that stage. Definitely not yours.
Neither Keizer is performing here...being one of the biggest time losers on basically every mountain stage is just crap. At times even Bennett looks so much superior to him, which is shocking. |

I was going to ak what happened to Karnulin, he lost 44 mins, so probably a crash...Guardini and Zmorka abandoned as our only chances for top5 stage finishes...so we can probably pack our bags and head home, nothing to gain here for now, as we rarely joing break with someone who can have a chance.
Anyway thanks for great report mate!
Spilak...ouch,i will say it again...Lecuisinier is imo hurting the chances of his captain, who would otherwise join the attacks instead of waiting behind his luxury domestique, at least that is how i see it. Schleck has just basically won another Tour, congrats SN!

Lammertink stop going into the breakaway in mountain stages. Leave that to the climbers in the team. You have any other stage to go for a break.

Schleck with another outstanding performance, congratulations, SN! Though, Dombrowski is also going surprisingly strong. The kid must fancy an overall podium now with such a gap down to Spilak in 4th. Speaking of Spilak, maybe that failure will mean we see a change from I-Gen-Festina. Lecuisinier on constant pace setting duties is on a bad day, as this one probably was for him, more in harm's way than anything else for Spilak. Though, difficult situation for Spilak, as on a good day, like the previous stage, he's an absolute key.
For my own team, it's encouraging to see Hoem try midway through the stage, but we really need to aim at the early breakaways if this Tour is going to give us anything. Bad news to see Kristoff drop outside the time limit, just when he delivered a proper sprint.
Thank you for the report, roturn |

Well that was a shitty performance. It is the first time in almost two weeks Spilak have to stomp his own pedals and he does this! Absolutely dreadful stage and a good chance for us to lose it all.
Spilak losing 3'27 is obviously crap, Lecuisinier is doing what can be expected after having to work for this long. Vasyliv fucked it over today losing 15'30 and Novak as usual drops a bit in the end, but this time we manage to fuck it all up. 3rd in the Team GC is just horrible...
Oh well, atleast now I can hope that he will go for a freaking stagewin on the hilly stage instead of doing nothing again and again. Retard!

Mixed emotions as Phinney has a quality ride up until the last 1-2km and just collapsed I do like that he never seems to be in the wrong position and the team is obviously helping Pantano and Poland having their rides of the season both seem to be near top 30 most stages which is perfect now to keep tabs on Schleck for the green jersey hopefully |

Ouch, that was a clear hit...ba dum tss.
Btw. i am sure SN can evaluate if it does make any sense to still have Vesuvio in the game, if he should be gone again for such a long period of time.
Imagine that free agency with Schleck, Pluchkin and other starts.

If we can keep on like this we could even get second after the TT. That stage was certainly enjoyable.

Plenty of excitement in the mountains, although I do feel a little bad for SotD. Just not Spilak's day, that one.
Sicard has been OK-ish, performing as somewhat expected, I guess. 7th in the GC is acceptable. Ki Ho Choi and Quintana have also both been decent.
Hopefully, we can keep it up from here. |

Thank you for the report, roturn, eventhough it's somewhat boring to follow a sprint stage without Kristoff
Perfect train from Pokerstars, but Degenkolb's hesitation was his huge mistake, and then there was suddenly no coming back as Bewley launched. Congratulations again, Roman! Also solid work from Vesely.
Nice to see all GC contenders safe through the stage. Hopefully they'll have a go at each other when we hit the mountains again. And who knows, maybe we'll see an aggressive Spilak on the next stage, after all it's the only hilly chance left. |

Bewley on a good run to still have hopes of a green jersey, he's honestly still my favourite to do so considering his superior recovery, but 10 points from an unlucky Swift are still a lot in 2 stages and a half where they can fight it out! Degenkolb really unlucky so far, hope Pokerstars can get another stage win out of this.
On the other hand, Schleck looks pretty set to take this Tour really. If he can pull another stage 13 on everyone else in 3 stages where he can do so, Taaramae and Spilak will have a seriously hard time making up for 3+ minutes on him.
Thanks for the great reports roturn! Congrats Roman!

It`s not ideal that Swift is recently struggling in the fight for green.
That said I take the stage wins so far and am absolutely happy anyway! |

Sorry for my holiday absence guys. Caught up on the stages today.
My team hardly scored points so far, but guess that was to be expected. At least we did join a couple of breakaways.
Strange to see Spilak having a bad time, but I expect him to bounce back. Andy continuing his strong season.

So, after a slow start in this Tour Bewley really starts to deliver big results and win. Have to be happy with his TdF so far. He is amazing in mountain, his recovery plays a part as well and he likely looks like the best sprinter in the race at this moment. And not only a fantastic win but also a really decent job by both Gough and Vesely. Things could be different if Degenkolb would go earlier though, who knows...
Thanks again roturn. You know for what.
