For nearly a decade now I have bought and played PCM each year. But over the past few years I have not bothered to buy the game until the PCM.daily database was available. For me, the amazing work done by the PCM.daily database team is what makes this game playable.
In November I downloaded PCM16 and the PCM.daily databases and found that the new training module makes the game unplayable for me. So I reverted to PCM15.
My plea is for a DB from PCM.daily, for PCM 15, that reflects the 2017 season (once all the teams, transfers, races, rider numbers, etc., have settled down). I know that this isn't usually something that is done but is there any chance for the coming season?
I've read other users' comments about PCM16 and maybe I'm not the only person this would interest?
Sadly it would be really hard to get that done because of 3 fundamental differences between PCM 15 and 16. Knowing that the priority is a 2017 db for PCM 16, converting it for PCM 15 would be impossible or at least take an effort we couldn't sustain, because:
1. Stages can't be converted from 16 to 15, and stages made on 16 don't work natively on 15.
2. Jerseys, accessories are not only in a different size, but some of the accessories in a different scale.
3. Stats needed to be adapted when going to PCM 16, because of the changes to the game engine. Putting the stats of pcm 16 on pcm 15 wouldn't result in a realistic game play - actually, we haven't figured out how to make PCM 16 work with our stats as well as the past editions.
That said, if you don't mind playing with a year old db, the V2 of the 2016 db for PCM 15 works really well and should be bugfree.

Or alternatively if enough people agree with you, you could try and organise a group to make your own 2017 DB for PCM15. Take the Daily 2016 Expansion as a base and get to work editing it up to 2017 accuracy.
Updating Teams and Riders wouldn't be difficult, just a little bit time consuming. But even at that basic level you could call it a 2017 DB, and because you'd have used the Daily DB as a base you know it would be of good quality and playability.
