This one went a bit under the radar, but Marcato was hit by a motor during the Tour de l'Eurométropole. Adding to the list of motor incidents in cycling.

Crashes or incidents with motorbikes are happening way to often now, something has to be done and quickly |

Warning. Mild sarcasm ahead.
Spoiler Rider hit by moto...sad but true, ain't no news nomore.
Just like drowning children in the Mediterranean Sea, black people being murdered by US police, doping in sports or suicide bombings in...what was that sandbox's name again?!
But:
Bouhanni's BFF Arnaud Demare did win Binche - Chimay - Binche by outsprinting such sprint heavyweights as Stybar, Roelandts and GVA.
But in Demare's defense, the poor guy had do ride the whole distance on his own and did not get a boost from his team car.
And John Degenkolb won the Sparkassen Münsterland Giro.
The race had rain and cobbles. Guess he's ready for the Worlds then. |

Tom Boonen-esque talent, been following him in the fall and he has literally animated every one day race and went in breaks over and over again. Didn't do that today, but he really isn't no ordinary sprinter. A good rival for Sagan in 2 years in Belgium |

Such an insane rider. I think he lives in Flanders as well, his passport is lying! True Flandrian. |

That guy is awesome, should be a nice rivalry with Sagan soon.

Right on form for the Worlds. Nando in rainbow jersey it's happening.
He also said that Paris-Roubaix is his favourite race, 2 years seems about right although he could already end up winning some smaller cobblez races with Etixx as soon as next spring.

Agreed, he looks strong on the cobbles, didn't he get a top 10 result on G-W?

He will most likely contest or at least be able to contest every cobbled race next season apart from Roubaix and Flanders, I think. I could see him win Het Volk, Gent or E3 easily, but it could be complicated on Etixx at times... |

Easily? Would not be so sure about that.

It is a shame that this year Paris-Tours edition was completely flat but at least Gaviria won
Gaviria is really shaping up to be an awesome rider. He was also good in the cobbled classics this year with a 6th place in Gent-Wevelgem being a key result. |

He was actually quite angry for that. He's a stubborn person already but that just made him pissed. He was more angry about Dylan saying he didn't do anything wrong than losing the stage itself. |
