It is possible to do so. The information is in STA_race_rules. Don't use IDs higher than 127 in this table though, such entries won't work.

Hey, I started a career and accidentally forgot to tick off the box "Random potentials" (Career) in the settings.
Now I really want to use the actual potentials from the Expansion pack DB and not random potentials. Is there any way I can still edit this or do I really need to start a new career?
I thought of copying the column "value_i_potentiel" (in DYN_cyclist, ordered by ID) of the Expansion pack-database and paste it into my savegame, replacing the "new" column with its random potentials. The problem is that in the savegame all the new young riders were generated, so their IDs are mixed in there between all the riders I actually want to edit. Can I somehow exclude them in Lachis Editor? Is it even possible to copy a whole column and paste it into my savegame?
Anyone an idea how to solve this?
Or doesn't it make sense, because the stat limits wouldn't be adjusted accordingly and will always stay as they were calculated when starting the career?

You have to start a new career. The stat limits won't change if you change the potentials |

Leonoel: You can use Excel to copy and paste whole columns. To load the save into Excel, you could use my Excel Editor.
The problem related to the generated riders could be solved by filtering them out or sorting the riders so that they are at the top or bottom of the list.
But you might have to fix other columns as well. As far as I know the maximum value for each stat (called "stat limit" by Aquarius) is calculated based on the potential, so those would be wrong too.
In other words: It might be easier to start another career. |

Thanks. Yes, but I did not know how to filter or sort them, because their IDs are all in between (so anything from 1, 79, 777 etc.), so I was looking for some trick to sort them at the top or bottom.
I just started a new career now anyway, as adjusting all maximum values for each stat would have been far too much. |

There's no maximum but putting a huge number will create too many riders coming from said region, and you don't want to overload PCM.

the maximum number of 120 (tested). only young low-level drivers (60-65 overall), but in other countries around 70. How to improve the level of young drivers in the country. |

You mean the chance of them having a high potential?
In case you can change that in gene_f_chance_pot_6_7 and the nearby columns. The sum of the gene_f_chance_pot columns has to be 1 so make sure you subtract the same you'll add to a column from the others.

Ouch I can't find it either, must be Cyanide that has removed it in a recent edition of PCM. Probably PCM 13 or 14 were the last to have it. In that case I have no idea nor think you can change the chance of riders having high potential.
