So there will be 18 World Tour teams next year then with Bora and Bahrain taking the vacated slots from Tinkoff and IAM - the status quo remains
It's far from confirmed that there will be 18 WT teams next season

Didn't he quit mid season last year to focus on his studies?
Anyhow, good news if it becomes true! |

That's a pity Spekenbrink said that then because of its true then nobody else needed to know about it unless Olivier wanted it public. Either way I wish the guy luck

Good signing
Yep Haussler is only 32 which for a classics rider isn't old (32 isn't old for any rider) of the other signings we have Boaro 29, Bole 31, Bozic 36, Colbrelli 26, Nibali 31, Pibernik 22, Siutsou 34 and Visconti 33. So yep we have some riders over 30 in that group but they have only signed 9 riders so calling them "retirement home" seems a bit far fetched

Definitely a great signing for Trek. He plays the free role perfectly, may also be a handy domestique for Contador depending on Bertie's shape.

Huzarski will leave Bora...I once was a fan of this team because of their caring and sympathic style - after this transfer period I'm not sure anymore

They want wins - not to be a filler in the World Tour scene. That's why they've signed Sagan and Majka though I thought that the transfers are done after signing 7 Tinkoff riders. Now they need to fill the voids. But Huzarski would be ungreatful if he dumps Bora, a soon-to-be WT team, for some PCT like ActiveJet. It would be the dumbest decision ever - missing out on WorldTour. But he could choose Bahrain, Katusha or Astana - that would be great for hum (dunno for his fans)

Bora offered Huzarski no contract anymore...it seems like he might end his career right now after his heavy injury that turned out not only to be a broken collarbone but more...
