Imo that doesn't make sense anyways i think. 79 is just too underrated.
Btw, what about Felline 74 MO? |

I think Quintana with 71 resistance is low, as when he is in his best shape he can attack and couter many times. I think that at least 72 resistance would suit him better. |

Bear in mind his 71 resistance is the result of the biggest difference in the db between mountains and hill stat, which in pcm 16 is greatly advantaged itself anyway. I think I talked about this already but we used a formula to determine a new resistance stat based off the old resistance and the difference between Hill and mountain - Hill is hugely irrelevant compared to the past years and mountain is overpowered.
With a higher resistance Quintana - that already has the highest MO stat in the db - might be too good in hilly stages, whereas he really isn't.

I was suggesting just 1 point improvement to be more close to Froome, because apart from recovery(which in game doesn't count much) his backups are low compared to other favourites in Grand Tours, even thought he alongside Froome has the best mountain stats. But if you say that the test showed that he can't have highter resistance than 71, I accept. |

Don't get me wrong it's still a formula, it's bound to be subject to adjustments etc. When we'll be able to test the effects a lot further in different conditions we will definitely take a look at the resistance stats with more certainty.

You need excel editor for it, which you can download in the editors section of the pcm 16 downloads section.
Download the sheet (that's my advice but you don't need to, you can also ctrl+c->ctrl+v data and it will work, just slower), open the last db in exporter.xls after you extracted the content of excel editor, open dyn cyclist from the window it opens, copy each stats column to where it belongs

Have you not read the explanation about Valverde above??? He's one of the most OP riders in the game and with 80 and 81 mtn he will win GT's which is something he doesn't do irl with the odd exception of winning the Vuelta in 2009. Because of his GT deficiencies he's a constant 3rd/4th place type rider in GT's.
Felline did really well on Lagos but that is always a strange climb to stat and if he were to get a climbing increase he needs to sustain it on other climbs in the Vuelta. he is also another rider with high BU stats to help him out as well.

I'm not from my pc and won't be for a while but you should be able to do that from the file menu window once you click there.

Valverde deserves to be an OP rider, unlike to overrated Contador in many years, since doping suspension.
With 80 in mountain, is especially Froome and Quintana still much better. Nibali is little better and no one else is better than Valverde. Difference between Valverde and Nibali are not large. Valverde beat him clearly in Tour last year and in Giro was difference that Valverde had a bad day, -5 in pcm (lost 3 minutes that day, lost Giro with 1:17). |

Coulda woulda shoulda he still hasn't won a GT for 7 years, which doesn't grant him a stat higher than 79 - which makes him seem 80.5 in game because of his Hill and superior backups.

So only +0,5 to Van Garderen ? Ok. Van Garderen has also so many podium places and implement GTs without big problems. Irony.
And -1.5 to Contador ? He clearly beat in Tour last year and in Vuelta this year after Ardennes classics, Giro, Tour and Olympic games. |

Well, look at the differences in recovery. Valverde has a much bigger avantage in a GTs on van Garderen.

did I hear somebody saying crashes?

Did I hear somebody saying bad excuses ?
99% of all crashes is little bruises that does not mean anything and is often your own fault. |

Well the crashes might have been his own fault (or some of them), but you can't tell me that leg fractures doesn't influence your capability of racing/preperation. Wouldn't call that a bad excuse.
We can't do anything to point out the affinity to crashes for cyclists into our game, as we still have no mental stats to draw them out.

Brian Vandborg ex pro rider:
I think generally there is a bad tendency with much unnecessary whining. We can see you are overthrown, and we can see you've beaten you. But in general I am tired of hearing it that 'I completely finished' mentality.
We all have tried smoking down, and half the time they beat themselves not very much. It burns a little, and it is tiresome to get a bruise.
But I have never ever seen Contador be out and say, 'That's fine, nothing happened'. Never. There is always something wrong.

Contador was already far behind before crashes.
Froome crashes in Tour and he won anyway
None Contador whining, I completely finished mentality.
No, quick grab G.Thomas bike and cycle up to the other favorites and won the race with a huge distance.

Uhm i think he doesn't need to prove him again, he's a "sprinter" not a climber. But we have seen that he's worth a 74 MO(in my opinion) because if he wants, he can climb great. |
