Just dominating, I don't get it why Porto isn't PCT, they are much more better than Team Roth.
Because outside of Portugal - i.e. in countries with proper doping controls - they achieve absolutely nothing of note. The Volta provides great entertainment, but clean riders tend to be nowhere to be seen in the top positions.
So it's basically like every other top cycling race outside of Portugal?

Yeah I do, they just don't make it as obvious outside of Portugal but it doesn't make the races any cleaner
I do agree that Porto going PCT would be a waste for whoever would be funding the step up as they would only get results in the same races they do now.

Yeah, it's not like Van Poppel had a much better season last year, but definitely agree with Moscon, dude seems like a future classics star.

So so happy Dege is back to beating world class guys again, just half a year ago I wasn't even sure he could ever ride a bike competitively again.
He could really have a shot in Ouest France.

Groenewegen easily wins my home race Veenendaal-Ve, sorry Arnhem-Veenendaal Classic for the second year in a row in what could possibly be the last edition.
For this year it nearly got cancelled but the race was saved at the last moment. However, things are not looking good for the future. And for the first time in years the race was broadcast live on television (Eurosport, not sure if it was an international broadcast). Recorded it to see if I can spot myself along the road
And as tradition, some photos:
And I did not know one of my former classmates was a podium girl

Is there no relevant streaming service to catch a glimp from le tour de l'avenir.?Such a shame you can't see anything live from it the past years -_-
Such talent riding over there, with an attacking mindset. Love to see something ! |

De Marchi and Gradek caught 200 m from the finish. Bouhanni wins the sprint in front of Ewan and Nizzolo

I'm sick of watching Bouhanni sprinting. 3 month ban or something like that might be the next step...
