Anyone think Tinkoff and Katusha are involved/will get caught up in the Russian doping scandal?
No they wont. This is another ..both are pro teams ..based in different country. Riding just under a russian flag and money.
And pro cycling is way better condition about fight against dopers then any other sport.
What makes you think that?
That other sport dope test's are joke. Tennis, athletics, football etc.
When they announce olympics 6 h. after 100 sprint final..that every test was clean. Then fuck them..it is just a joke.
Football biggest replay is..why we need a doping? really why? look at they season. How much they play ...they need a ton's of recovery.
2015 Poalini..nice that you but him at dopers list. Funny party guy took a cocaine.
Bio passport is useful one..when you reading go's sky high after rest day. You are out the game.
Why wouldn't I put Paolini on a list of riders who had tested positive at Katusha? Last time I checked Cocaine is on WADA's list of banned substances as a PED, I didn't say he took the stuff for it's PED properties, or that it was part of an organized doping program, I was listing Katusha's positives and that one counts does it not?
Also I agree that some other sports testing regimes are a joke, I'm not making an argument that they are not but to claim that cycling has a tough anti doping regime just isn't true, they have created a system that has given riders, teams and doctors parameters to work within so they can keep doping and not get caught, look at Chris Horners blood profiles from that Vuelta he won and you will see what massive gaps are in the Bio Passport system, his blood profile screamed blood bag but because of the weak levels built into the Bio Passport it was okay and Mr Horner didn't trip the system.

Apparently Oleg Tinkov confirmed in an interview with a Czech website that he his done with cycling and again repeated that Sagan is signing with Bora for 6 million. Why anybody would take what he said about staying in the peloton if Sagan won 3 stages is beyond me as it was pretty obvious Oleg was done with his toy once he couldn't get what he wanted.

Haha, you really hate him, that is so funny.
I would not call it a lie, it was a joke and Oleg likes trolling very much. Some people dont have sense for humour, that is sad.
He also said, that he was paying 4,5 mil. euros to Sagan, so he will have much bigger paycheck in Bora.

4.5 Mil.? That's like the entire budget of Bora-Argon 18!

That was his Tinkoff salary, now he shoud have 6mils. in Bora, who should have new partners in Hansgrohe and Specialized, so i guess their budget will skyrocket...

Not hate! I don't subscribe to hate, dislike would be the word
I always knew he was joking about continuing the team but some took it seriously which I did find amusing

The Deutschland-Tour will return in August 2018 with 4 stages. They have a 10-year contract with ASO and will aim for a world tour place in the future.
On this website you can make suggestions for the race: https://deutschla...netour.de/ |

The Germans care less about cycling for nearly a decade and I simply don't see big German race in WT for the forseable future

And Bjarne Riis is back in cycling. Taking over TreFor and giving it a new name. TreFor will be a Cont team for 2017 backing up a new World Tour Team from Denmark. Oh man can they get this on the road ????
Sad enough in danish, but they just announce this new setup. I'm not good enough to translate but some other might be ???
Trefor will change name already to Danish Tour.
Team Virtu Pro-Veloconcept (Wow that's hard to remember and learn)

More news will surely come in english soon enough.

Beat me to it Clamel! But its really big news that we will have a proper development team for a Riis project. It is also really big news for the sport that a new team with Worldtour ambitions most likely will see daylight in 2017 in the light of Tinkoff and IAM closing down.

Ruben Guerreiro will sign for Trek.
Quite interesting sign. Has bucket full of talent, and can be quite as good as Costa. And on the contrary of Costa, he has actual explosiveness
Also, Ivo Oliveira, Rui Oliveira and Luis Nunes from Bike Club Portugal (U23 squad) will sign for Axeon. |

Is Ruben good as a stage racer as well? TBH I only know him because he volunteered to join my team in the game, and now he may become a future GT winner. Are that the races he likes IRL as well?

He climbs well and isn't a bad TT'ist, but he's more punchy than anything. Imagine him like a mini-Valverde. |
