Final day.
Weather change is best thing what have happens for this year TdF.
Final mountain stage before parade at Paris is short enough to have final action. Shorter climbing stages are usually most fun to watch. Many riders has something to win and nothing to lose. Let's hope they also act like it. |

My personal hope is that Yates has still something left to get back into podium..he deserves it lot more then low form Quintana. Even Valverde would have front of him..if he had ridden that tour as GC man.

Huh?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Read that Quintana reallly wanted to disband yesterday, his body is not responding at all, great spirit from him still fighting on and maybe salvating a podium spot. But zero chances of him winning the stage and climbing past bardet in GC really
Podium lost for Yates, but considering the guys closest to him on GC are Quintana (worst I hav ever seen him through his career) and the ever unstable Porte, its not that unrealistic.
Id fear longe range attacks from Aru/astana and purito the most

I have the feeling that Yates could loose it today completely and Meintjes might achieve white today...would be a great story for him at least

That would be a huge blow for Yates - losing Maillot Blanc on the worst possible stage to lose it.
Needless to say Froome, Sagan, Majka and Yates are 95% assured winners

same here ..yates seems to fading. Let's hope he can keep white..lot to celebreate even after that. Same time Meintjes last week has been amazing.
Porte was chasing back after chaos on descent. And was not looking that solid on the final climb. One day to go for Porte to show that he is GT rider after all.
Purito and Valverde..wow . Those old guys getting better and better like good wine. |

Could very well happen, as I predict a really hard stage today. Astana really got the pressure on them after Aru not looking likely to get even a top 5 and I really hope movistar will try some longe range attacks will valverde

watching Lemond show here.
It is just great..It go's same as once you learn how to ride a bike. You never forget it.
He is quite fat, still climbing fast enough. Descending like pro. Just amazing to watch. |

This is a good profile for a last stage, short and packed with mountains and thankfully a descent finish. If it's anywhere near half as exciting as the similar-looking Vuelta stage last year, I'll be happy
Oh and...

What a gigantic group! Kreuziger said he will go the break and he does, Sagan was also expected.

This is the type of breakaway that would get the Peleton tag in PCM while the actual Peleton gets a1.

Couple of riders in the breakaway that could help Bardet if he fancied trying a Contador. |
