The bad thing is that he even would lead without the jury's decision now. |

Well why wouldn't you? It's easy money. Unfortunately.

You are even more annoying than Aarberg, or is it your second account anyway?

4min. between 1 an2 ..is not that much.

Shocking result! (Insert sarcasm here) Nothing to say about Froome that hasn't been said, but as the old saying goes, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." As cycling fans I feel were a good way past twice.
Really pleased with Bardet. I honestly didn't buy AG2R and their talk of him improving over this offseason because he had finished up university. But he's a slightly better flat ITT performance away from being a real contender in his career -- especially the not TdF GTs. Hope France lets him ride a couple of those.
Another strong day from Porte, has to be the favorite for runner up in my book. He's like Froome.exe in beta testing. Wouldn't be surprised if he puts a few seconds into Froome on 19 or 20, and Froome lets him as a bit of patronage.
Quintana just looks...off. Saved his podium with the second half of that climb. Still though, he's struggling mightily and very well may be a distant 4th or 5th come the Champs.
And Yates/Mollema may just be a little too short on gas to make it through the next two days without conceding big time. Especially Mochema -- he looks like he's hit the wall. I think Yates, or OBE, may have noticed that and called him off a bit for today. Conserve some energy and try and nurse home a top three. It's entirely possible there's an all English-speaking podium....which is interesting for a variety of reasons. |

How is that not that much? What are you on today
4 minutes with 2 days to go to a guy that is getting worse day by day is huge.

I don't think that's a bad thing, the race should of never been decided with that poor decision, I would rather see him dominate than have people constantly going on about how he only won the Tour because of what happened on Ventoux.

Being quite congenial towards Froome, this forum has been a particular delight past few days
All these mournful responses are such delight, honestly.
Yeah it gets quite tiresome sometimes

Lets all take it upon ourselves and please give Quintana a moment of silence, now that his dreams of 2nd place have been taken away from him, all support would be welcome. Poor guy forgot his bloodbags for the 2nd race day

Top 12 on GC stage times relative to Froome:
Froome
Aru 0.33
Porte 0.33
Bardet 0.42
Rodriguez 1.05
Mentjes 1.08
Quintana 1.10
Valverde 1.18
Kreuziger 1.20
Yates 1.23
Mollema 1.25
Martin 1.28
Not huge differences for most but Aru, Bardet and Porte a cut above the rest (of the rest).

Did Quintana steal your girlfriend or something? Had to have done something to you personally for you to keep going on about him, or his it that you have a secret man crush on him and you are feeling a little confused? Just embrace it, no judgements here

Curious to see how Aru goes over the next few days, he's shown that he rides the 3rd week well in GT's be it in weaker fields but still good performances

No, he just thinks that Nairo got overhyped, just like I do.

After winning Catalunya and Romandie this year in the wake of his climbing in 2015 in the Alps, the 'hype' was completely justified. Whether its bad prep, illness or whatever has happened, we don't know, but Quintana is a top-tier GC rider who just had a bad race. It happens. |

Or he is early career blossomer, it happens.
