And I'm so: oh finally a new race report and then so: What?
So much I've to catch on. But I'm curious, why isn't Robin named at the WC squad? |

That is a mistake. Germany has 2 spots and Huser is on it (not Bruggeman). Will correct in the post. |

Talk about making someone's heart race over 200 just with your words Beautifully written Ian, and a fantastic race from Vague and Listerijn, eventually resulting in a rookie error, though I imagine Vague had the better kick anyway. Not sure how bitter Milan will be though I doubt it'll be much, although come next year he may want a bigger slice of the pie
Louis and Visconti putting in great early-race performances too (and Louis finishing top 10 ), really a 10/10 performance from the Belgian, for once, team.
EDIT: McLaughlin you idiot, ruining my top 6

Some interesting reactions already.
Just for clarification, though: the triple bike-exchange. Goldenberg had a flat, but on a course as sandy as Montrose Beach riders will change bike almost every round. So Vague and Listerijn simply decided to change bike so they had a fresh bike again.
So it's not like they all had a faulty bike or something simply a clean bike!
We're also heading towards an important moment in this game. More on this when the final races approach! |

You said it once, to me, or skype, or here. Think it was around when things were heating up this time last season between Milan and Goldie

Hey everyone,
Nearing the end of Season 3, I have been thinking about the future of this game. It'll be tough to keep the game up as it is. So I've got a few suggestions to throw in the mix:
1. Role-playing also has an impact on the race reports. No activity leads to short reports, more response leads to larger reports. Not a big fan of this idea as the quality could suffer under this.
2. Reports go on as they are now (with intervals of speed, like now), but both myself and the active members make an effort to both contribute. I'd love to keep it going if enough people played the game well.
3. I've got an alternative that's very game-changing, but don't want to spoil anything, this is a safety-net if no other solution is come to.
That's what I have so far. I'll leave a few days for players to respond.
PS. Next report will be one of the next few days |

I like it, as it is now. If I should say one, it would be 2. Can I pre-join btw? It looks like I have completely misjudged the deadline for pre-joining

You can certainly enter already with a U23 rider. He won't get much activity anymore this season but you could already present him with Game Thread posts or something.
Anyway; something that might change next season (and later this season after testing it earlier) is that potentially not all races will have previews. I'll report on a weekend in one go sometimes, like I concluded the Cola Trophy a week ago.
So this'd mean specific race tactics would have to be send in earlier to be certain, but only one active member uses race tactics for every race anyway so I'll have to talk it out with him.
Instead, there'd be more general season-tactics. With sammyt93, for example, I have communicated about his two riders for several in-game months, about his riders' planning and peaking etc.
So Ansbach probably (hopefully) tomorrow or day next. It's possible I'll also Kwaremont then but then again I think Kwaremont needs its own preview |

You can do it like u want. For me most races are known, so previews dont change anything. I also dont mind shorter reports of smaller events

I wouldn't mind various races not having previews, or much reduced previews. They are always good to read, but losing them wouldn't damage the game to my eyes. I like the Coca-Cola double report thing, having a few of those across the season wouldn't be a problem. Would actually open up more range to role-play off of those races as less is spelled out, i think, possibly.
I'll stick around with my riders whatever happens. I have fun with them and my team. My preference is to keep things the same, but whatever is need to keep the game running i will get behind.

Agree totally with TMM and Shonak, though I'd go to short previews before the double short reports.

I am really guilty of not following this as much as I used to anymore and I really would love to catch up with this soon and write a few lovely posts but just wanted to stop by and say you're still doing a great job Ian.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Everything'll stay the same, then.
Well some minor changes perhaps, we'll have to see about that
So here's the Ansbach Report!
@Matt: Hope you can come back into the game |
