Never thought I would see the day where BAUKE MOLLEMA was Froome's biggest opponent.
Well stop talking. Dumoulin was close to win vuelta but dutch luck caught him after all
Not..non climbers legs caught him there. Not luck issue back then |

Three best rouleurs from Top 10 rode the 3 best timetrials. 3 days of hard winds taking their toll on the others.

Now it's almost official that froome has won the TDF 2016 unless he has a crash or a mechanical. After 13 stages everything is predictable now. Even without the help of the officials yesterday he would have get the yellow jersey back today and get much more respect. I really thought that most GC contenders wouldn't lost too much time but it seems that this time trial was too hard for them. I'm really happy for tom dumoulin he shows that he's in great shape after winning 2 stages in le tour. Quintana hasn't done anything so far looks very much like last year where he's going to give everything in the final week and it will be too late. Bauke mollema and Adam Yates are real surprises so far in this TDF I would never expect them to be 2nd and 3rd after 13 stages but at the same time there's still plenty of stages left. As for Richie porte he did good so far considering he had a puncture early in the TDF and I was expecting him to be really bad since he's not even a GC guy really. |

Dumoulin was so much over anyone today.
Reminds me Indurain, Ulle, Spartacus on their best days. |

So won Froome again. For me it's more exciting than I thought it would be, as I have always seen it as a race for second place.

Trek should've signed a genuine GT contender sooner to make Mollema a genuine GT contender. It can be like Porte and TJ all over again for 2017 - Contador being TJ naturally |

Froome is a monster.
Nairo needs luck. A crash or sickness which isn't unlikely, but he seems worse than 2015. By a relatively big margin.
And I can't believe Mollema is performing this well, a rider I have mocked at every given opportunity. Chapeau Bauke, you have earned your first name Bauke, no more Mauke. Podium and Bollema is goneso as well |

After the last 3/4 years I never believed Mollema would live up to his potential I beleived in earlier. But this year he seems to finally have done it. |

After Ax-3-Domaines, he has performed like trash in the mountains in TdF. He had that one stage in T-A where he came second to Nairo, but his climbing has been very suspect and not super reliable on the big scenes
To go from that to this. What has happened? No clue, but he is transformed. Remember when he lost 8 minutes in 14 in the ITT? Gone, Bauke has become a man. Still not a pretty one.

And can we once in for all appreciate that Valverde is the best rider of his generation?
What a rider. |

The most amazing thing is I'm sure he most of landed on his feet if that's the only injury |
